Whoa, ok. The market for that #12 pick was a little higher than I thought. I'm surprised the Celtics couldn't get anything for the #3 pick if the #12 pick could get Hill or Teague.

Meh. I think most people, including yourself, probably still think of Zach LaVine as the No. 13 overall pick and that lessens his perceived value. If the draft was re-done, he's easily a top-five pick in a strong draft and we're not throwing his name around in trade discussions nearly as often because it'd be known that he's a core piece.

He also played out of position for nearly one of his two seasons in the NBA. I realize you were all in favor of Sam playing him at PG, but that was a mistake. From my view, LaVine's development has been amazing and I expect him to have an eye-opening (for some) third season.

Like that deal for Indiana if this is all there is to it.

Utah just got a whole lot better.

It is a win now trade for them and they needed a solid player at that position and a vet guy that age experience probably helps the whole team. Hill is a solid and underrated player but idk I wonder if in a couple years they regret this move. In the other hand Utah has young talent coming out their ears already.

Wow if this happens

Knicks and Bulls are in advanced talks on a deal to send Derrick Rose to New York, sources tell @ShamsCharania and me.

Wowzers

The Bulls are sending Derrick Rose, Justin Holiday and a 2017 2nd-round pick for Robin Lopez, Jerian Grant and Jose Calderon, per source.

I was thinking they could package them to move up in the draft.

Wow. Jackson seems to methodically be building a nice team. Not a lot given up there for a crap shoot on Rose. I like this deal.

I like Hill and he would bring them the consistency at PG that they need both offensively and defensively., Im surprised they didn't move exum or burke though. There has to be another trade for them?

That is what I am thinking too. But doesn't this also say rebuild if that is their strategy. I think they are sure Horford is gone. They just traded Teague. There is something going on there, seems like a fire sale.

Fantastic trade for Chicago. Didn't imagine that Derrick Rose could yield that much. Robin Lopez and Jerian Grant for a bad contract is splendid.
