Muhammad, Bjelica, and Payne for Faried works salary-wise, but the value for Denver just isn't there. And the No. 5 pick would *seem* to hold more value than Faried alone. Maybe we include a future first rounder, though that's tougher to do since Flip pissed one away to get Payne in the first place.
If Thibs can find a way to acquire Faried while keeping the main six guys AND a top-seven pick, that'd be a huge win in my book. Just not sure he can pull it off.

I'd need something else other than Faried for a top 5 pick. Maybe Gary Harris and we give them Bazz. Faried is never going to be an all-star and I think a couple guys who might be available at 5 have that potential including Bender. I want a little more than a role player starter for a top 5 pick.

This one is a bit confusing. I definitely see the Wolves interest, but not sure what we have that they would want. They already have picks 7, 15 and 19....so while 5 would be their best, it is probably less appealing. Again, I don't see a great fit on resources going back to the Nuggets. Maybe a future unprotected 1st? Probably needs to be a 3 team deal.
It is curious. Plus Woj was saying on his podcast that the Nuggets were another team that was looking to get back to the playoffs. I would think they wouldn't just want to deal Fariid for draft picks if that's the case.

I just looked at Gary Harris stats. He had a pretty decent season and he turns 22 in September. Not sure what the Buggets would be looking to get back in return for Fariid. They have Will Barton too so yeah I'm not sure Bazz would be their guy.

Does Jackson really think Rose has anything positive to offer? He's been damaged goods for 3+ years now, yet when he plays, he still thinks he's an alpha dog, making things worse by carrying a higher usage level. High usage + Horrible efficiency = Bad Idea. Subtraction by addition in my book for the NYK.

Ha....this is just what I love to see from the Knicks! Hate em!

This is such a typical Knicks move. Yuck.

Rose to NYK for Lopez, Grant and Caledron.
Teague to IND
G Hill to UTA
12th pick to ATL

Supposedly all the cool old bigs Gasol and Noah are now possibly going to the Knicks. I think this has a good chance of being a fantastic disaster. I feel bad for Porzingis though. Good thing Derrick Williams opted out!

What about Faried and 15 or 19 for 5? that would maybe make more sense value wise.
