I could see us including Robinson and/or Shved. Not Shabazz..

Why would we include Shabazz?

I could only see if it we got both Wiggins & Waiters, but then we'd either have to be shedding even more salary or getting more value back. Doesn't make much sense to swap young talents right now.

For some reason, some of you still don't get it. WE ARE THE TEAM GIVING UP KEVIN LOVE. That means Dieng, LaVine, Muhammad, Rubio, first round picks, etc. That's all off the table. Hell, I'd go as far to say Robinson III should be off the table too.

I don't see Muhammad as completely off the table b/c he plays the position Wiggins is may start his career at. I certainly wouldn't do Love/Muhammad for Wiggins/Bennett/Picks/filler. They'd have to sweeten the deal and find a way for the Wolves to offload more salary then MAYBE. It really depends on how much more the Wolves would be getting out of the deal.

Something like this would be nice:

Wolves get: Wiggins/Bennett/Waiters?/Gibson/pick
Cavs get: Love
Bulls get: Brewer or Martin/LRMaM? (if they want a PF back or maybe to CLE?)/pick - 2nd rounder?

Maybe Haywood and/or Shved in the mix.

I don't like Bazz's game at all and I think Wiggins' long-term value is at the 3 with his ball handling skills lacking. I'd be fine throwing them Bazz. Bazz just isn't a team player and I think that is bad on a young team. He just never looks to pass and gets mad at guys for not giving him the ball. He wouldn't be a big loss in my opinion. It's one thing to refine your technical skill, it's another to change your mentality and Bazz has had the same mentality since high school, "Get ball, Shoot ball". If he were 2-4 inches taller I would be fine with his game, but a 6'6 wing with not much of a handle and who's bread and butter is in the post around the trees makes me think he won't ever be much in this league. I don't see the tools in his game to get that much better like a Lavine or Wiggins.

It's called being responsive to new information and basing opinions or predictions on the evidence. Some like Porkchop predict sunshine and still say the sun is shining when it's pouring rain. :)

Keeping an open mind and staying flexible is vital in these crazy days, so we will see some posters change their minds as new information comes in...I hope Flip is keeping an open mind too.

That goes for me too. Nobody is more down on Kevin Love personally than me. But I would flip flop and become the biggest Love fan in the world if he would make this statement today: "Minnesota fans, I've been selfish and a dick (substitute more appropriate word here) and I need to apologize. My behavior has been unfair to you and to the franchise that traded for me, has supported me, and made me a multimillionaire. Both you and the Wolves deserve better. Yes, I want to win, but I want to win here, and I'm confident in the direction Flip is taking this franchise. We will make the playoffs this year, and I am here for the long haul."

If that question's for me, pc, I've always been excited about the possibility of a Wiggins deal. I just didn't think it was very likely. What changed for me is when King James reached out to Love, because he's going to get what he wants and Flip isn't giving him up without Wiggins.

I've never been against trading Love for a Wiggins package. I've flipped (pun intended) on whether such a deal was likely. I'll admit I've had misgivings about Wiggins, but I also see his potential. I've grown more excited at the prospect of a Wiggins deal as I've watched LaVine and thought more about alternative deals. I'm getting more and more excited at the prospect of a team built around Wiggins and LaVine with Ricky at the point.
