Free agents I'd be interested in for the Wolves, depending on what happens with Love and other roster clearing moves, include Evan Turner, Elton Brand and Okafor.

What about Kendall Marshall for backup PG if we could pick up cheaply as a waiver claim and trade Berea/Shved?

I don't like Marshall at all, Mike D's system elevated his stats, and he might be a worse shooter than rubio, he has a spot in this league but he should not be a Wolf

Maybe so. Last year (his 2nd year in NBA) he shot only 40.6 %. But he shot nearly 40% (39.9) from 3s and had shot ok in college (.467 his last year of college) and he's 22, so with time, perhaps he could improve. He's an amazing passer and if we wanted another pass first pg in the Ricky mold, he'd be it. But if we want more of a scorer, then he's not a good fit. I saw him play a few games when he started and he looked pretty good. I'm surprised Lakers cut him when his salary is only $1 million, but they got Lin now and Nash.

I hipe flip takes a look at toney douglas for the min as a 3rd string pg. he is a 3 and d type of pg. he cant run an offense very well but can play d and hit the 3. Pair him with lavine and he could be effective. Would be a nice change of pace player and should come in cheap.

Bucks get Marshall which is a nice move for them. System or no system Marshall's assist stats are no joke and he was passing to scrubs. I'd say he is a nice compliment to what guards they have there. He makes less than a million Bucks is going into his 3rd year and is 23. Pretty low risk decent reward there.

The Bucks are going to be looking for a point guard in next year's draft. So Marshall will help them get to that point.

Ersan Ilyasova is on the trading block for Milwaukee. Should we have any interest?

[Edit: After posting, I did some digging and it looks like Milwaukee wants to shed his contract which is $7.9 mill per year for the next two years and then a team option, there has been talk that Milwaukee might incentivize a team to take his contract

He had a mini-breakout a year or so back (his three point shooting was above 44% two years in a row, and he rebounds well) then he battled injuries and reverted back to his pre-breakout form.

Would it make sense to trade Martin for him since their contracts are similar? Ilyasova turned 27 in May and has been wildly inconsistent, but if we trade Love we might need a PF more than another wing. ]

I'm not a fan of Ilyasova. I'd rather have Martin.
