Playoffs discussion
Re: Playoffs discussion
How do the refs not call goaltending on Bryant sticking his hand through the net and pushing ball off rim? This might be the worst goaltending I've seen and it's not called. Refs hating on OKC.
Re: Playoffs discussion
Turner knocks ball out of bounds and refs miss another blatant call that goes against OKC.

Really can't believe Doris Burke is the best analyst out there for her role. ESPN went from being the best thing ever invented to a cesspool of woke ideology and DEI.

Can’t really expect anything different when watching the nba though, unfortunatelyCoolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 8:47 pm Really can't believe Doris Burke is the best analyst out there for her role. Would love to see SGA lose this series. Not really a fan of their other guys either. Indiana is a fun team to pull for. If they can pull this one out tonight, this will be a heckuva series

Can we maybe not talk about this kind of nonsense on a basketball forum? Doris is fine, mute the TV if you need to.
Any chance the Wolves can blackmail the pacers into trading McConnel for Julius?

She’s terrible. There are so many talented analysts who played or coached the game and who are pleasant, engaging personalities. But we’re stuck with Doris. NBA finals ratings are down. Adam Silver’s response is that the League needs to “get more creative.” No Adam! Ratings are down largely because the two smallest market teams are playing one another and neither team has a big-name star. So what can or should the NBA do to boost ratings overall going forward.Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 8:47 pm Really can't believe Doris Burke is the best analyst out there for her role. First of all, recognize that these two Finals teams are playing a beautiful brand of basketball and are a blast to watch. They play full court team basketball and compete incredibly hard on both ends. so instead of promoting “stars” and then talking about “getting creative, how about promoting the game? If more people knew what they were missing, they’d be tuning into this series.
Second, clean up the poor and sometimes suspect officiating during the season.
Third, tell the networks that broadcast NBA games to hire analysis based on merit.
