He is gonna be one of those guys in X amount of years people that didn't see him play are gonna be confused as to why he was considered such a good player.

Team USA has won every gold medal since they allowed professionals to play except 1. He's got the 1. The dude had a monumentally impactful career as a 6th man. I hope people don't forget because he was the ultimate team player and won everything because of it.

Yeah, Manu is one of the top two or three shooting guards of the past 20 years. His career totals are a little suppressed because of his role off the bench, but he was one of the most effective and efficient 2-way guards of his generation, without a doubt.

I think what really separates him is the fact that he is an elite play maker.....just a beautiful pick and roll ball handler that could score and set-up team mates equally well. We see Harden does it at an elite level, but not many other shooting guards do these days.

Somebody sent me a Manu Ginobili passing highlights link recently. It was pretty awesome. He's not like a John Wall or Chris Paul passing. He finds so many odd angles and unique ways to get the ball where it needs to go.

He was a fun player to root for... or against.

Thanks for posting Abe.

To me Manu is like the perfect SG. He can do everything you could ever desire from a SG. He could score, 3 point shooting, take guys off the dribble, create for others to even a PG level, finish at the rim both creatively and dunk on guys. He was a good defender and few were his equal as a competitor. He was just a terrific all around player.

What the Celtics are doing right now is pretty impressive. Clearly one of the differences between this team with him and without him is their ability to play defense. Various guys are stepping up Jerebko looks like a legit NBA player even with one air ball. Lebron has 4 fouls in the first half.

What if they really are better without him? This is crazy to watch
