Memphis, OKC, and New Orleans all lose tonight. Memphis and OKC lost to Eastern Conf. teams and New Orleans lost to Houston, an assured top 3 team, so it's almost the same as losing to an Eastern Conf team. This creates further distance between us and the 7th seed! Good news.

I can't believe OKC lost to a reeling Charlotte team....at home! Just weird.

Still believe they will figure it out but man are we going to get that pick

Will George sign with OKC if they miss the playoffs this year? Why would he?

As long as this guy stays healthy, we don't have to worry about OkC. We may have to worrry about our pick though...I'm cheering for the Thunder every night.

His ego won't allow him to come off the bench either. They should start grant and then Melo comes in and they can run the iso game through Melo when they have the bench in.

Don't blame them at all for making both trades but they could really blow up on them.

OKC's front office suddenly isn't looking so savvy. I suspect George won't stay even if OKC makes the playoffs as a 6th, 7th or 8th seed. Melo is Melo. I feared OKC as a likely top 3 team at the beginning of this season. And even after their rough start I thought they'd figure it out. And maybe they will. But I'm beginning to worry about whether we'll get their draft pick.

It is so huge in my opinion to have OKC make the playoffs because we need young cheap talent to play roles on the team moving forward.

I still think Sam Presti had a phenomenal off-season and would be deserving of Executive of the Year honors. He did his job in my book. The players and coaching staff just haven't made it mesh like it's supposed to.

MIN: Jeff Teague, Andrew Wiggins
POR: Damian Lillard

I'd pull the trigger, obviously. Does Portland even consider it?

Cam -- If you could pull this off, you'd be executive of the year in my book!
