[Edit: After posting, I did some digging and it looks like Milwaukee wants to shed his contract which is $7.9 mill per year for the next two years and then a team option, there has been talk that Milwaukee might incentivize a team to take his contract
He had a mini-breakout a year or so back (his three point shooting was above 44% two years in a row, and he rebounds well) then he battled injuries and reverted back to his pre-breakout form.
Would it make sense to trade Martin for him since their contracts are similar? Ilyasova turned 27 in May and has been wildly inconsistent, but if we trade Love we might need a PF more than another wing. ]
I like it a lot. As Q noted, this could be a "buy low" move for the Wolves. It's also a move that makes sense regardless of whether they trade Love this summer. He can replace Dante and contribute with Love on the roster.

I would rather do LRAM for llyasova because, the bucks want to get rid of some contracts so we will be giving them an expiring. I like llyasova's game a lot, and he would be a good starter if we do the wiggins deal.

Hummel's deal w/ #Twolves is 1-year, $900,000, per source. Full guarantee.
I'm glad he is coming back I thought the Wolves valued him I guess I was right. Lots of teams were doing the renouncing rights of cheap guys only to resign them later. Its the cool thing to do. Lol
Hummel is a good cheap 15th man. But why the hell do we need another SF? 6 on the roster after GR3 yet we have no legit backup PF. I know Hummel and Moute can play PF but we are a really small team right now in the frontcourt. Right now it looks like Flip might give Dieng a legit shot to play PF

I have to imagine that if we trade Love for Wiggins/Bennett, we are going to use one of our wings (more than likely Martin) to acquire a PF like llyasova/Young/sign and trade for Monroe (dream)

You have to have cheap guys at the end of your bench that can give you some minutes when needed so you can afford the high dollar guys in the regular rotation. Point being, adding Hummel doesn't limit the Wolves at all... I'd actually argue it gives them more flexibility because it allows them more trade options with their current overpaid rotation guys
