Hearing that Minnesota is shopping Rubio and not asking for much in return as long as the receiving team takes Pekovic's contract as well.

Yikes, tough day for Ricky. First, KAT says Tyler Ulis is the best PG he has ever played with, and now Geitzeiler says the Wolves don't need much in return for him other than unloading Pek.

Anybody know much about Geitzeler. All I remember is hearing him say last February that he was certain Mike Conley was going to be swapped for Reggie Jackson...still waiting on that one.

This just doesn't make sense to me. Getting rid of Pek's contract just isn't that valuable, since he's only on the books for 2 more years, and the Wolves have plenty of cap space for those two years. I'm calling BS on Geitzeiler.

I'd say BS.

Cam will love this...

Sources: Several Western teams aggressive on Thad Young, whom Brooklyn's working to move to highest bidder. This gets Nets into first-round.

Sources say Phoenix, in its failed trade pitch to convince Utah to surrender Gordon Hayward, tried to pair Eric Bledsoe with a lottery pick

Hayward is a pretty good all around player. That's a pretty good package the Suns offered up.

He goes to Indiana for No. 20 overall and a second round pick. Love this deal for the Pacers.

So Brooklyn figured out that he sucks too huh? That's a nice return for him.

Jeebus, Rubio gets no respect.

Kevin Love and Pekovic basically owe him a third of the value of their current contracts. While every great player is ultimately a function of his own hard work and God-given abilities, it certainly helps to have a PG that knows how, when, and where to get you the ball. KAT has been the latest big to benefit greatly from the ultimate pass-first point guard.

Can't agree more. Dunn can learn from him.

Any idea what it would take to get Trey Lyles from Jazz. He seems like the perfect PF next to Towns (Portis too)

I liked him in college and last year he showed plenty to be excited about all things considering. My guess is it would take a lot. Why? The biggest problem is Jazz basically need nothing. They have talent everywhere. It's why giving up a pick to get Hill does make sense. They have bigs. They have wings. They have enough options at PG now. Keep in mind Burks has been a nice player for them and he missed over half the season last year. Lyles is great compliment to the bigs they have. Utah has something good going over there especially long term if Exum turns out to be a nice player.
