All I’m going to say is we get Marney Galner for 32 games a year with Grady doing NBC. I’ll lose my mind. She is so bad with the Lynx. Not an exaggeration, she makes a mistake every 3rd possession. A brutal listen

I used to like Marney. Have you listened to a Lynx game this year. She is the worst play by play person I have ever listened to and that is including HS games.
She is a very good post game person and when she did sideline reporting she was good. She is a terrible play by play person

Everybody likes Marney as a person...she's fun and a pretty good interviewer. But I have to agree with Kek as to her play by play ability...I grade her a D in both basketball and baseball.

I'm hoping the few games Gellner did play-by-play showed that she's simply not good enough for the full-time gig once Grady leaves. As fans of a terrible basketball franchise for 30+ years... at least we've had mostly good TV crews during that time.

I don’t think you are big WNBA guy but she is the full time Lynx play by play person. She never stops talking. Lea B Olsen is actually a solid color commentator but she is lucky to speak because Marney just keeps talking. Also makes so many mistakes because she does not breath to figure out what actually is going on.

Surprised the production team (i.e. management) isn't giving her feedback on this stuff, which seems correctable. There are enough reps with pro basketball where one can get a pretty quick feedback loop and improvement.

Doesn't matter who fills in because I usually turn the volume down or look for the opposing teams feed. I have never been a fan of Jim Pete. What I have heard from Grady I really like and it easy to see why the national networks want him.

I posted yesterday that I thought it was odd that Daigneault has abandoned the strategy he used all season of playing lots of players to keep his guys active and fresh. I pointed out that he was channeling Finchy by moving to an 8 man rotation, and wondered whether that was the reason Indy has been so dominant in the 4th quarter. Well, it seems like he has gone back to his old rotation...halfway through the second quarter, and 10 guys have played at least 4 minutes. Let's see if he keeps it up, and the thunder play better in the 4th.

The biggest difference I've seen in this series is that Indiana isn't giving up all the offensive rebounds that we did.
