Lavine is only a -336 on the year. Let me know when Dragic gets there. He only has a 391 point lead this year on Zach.
Wow, that's strange. One guy is a near all star who played all season with a playoff contender. The other a raw rookie forced into running an NBA team missing 3 key veterans, who has won 12 games all year. I don't how he could be that far behind at this point.

I thought Rubio and Bledsoe were both magnificent on defense last night, and Bledsoe's doing a good job on Rose again tonight. I think I was so into that back and forth 4th quarter last night that I didn't really appreciate at the time what Rubio and Bledsoe were doing on defense. Ricky gets Beverly next, so it's not going to get any easier for him.

Youngblood says in his game write up this morning that KG will be in Houston on Monday, but won't play until Wednesday. If so, I withdraw my criticism. I am puzzled though why he won't play Monday against Houston if he's there anyway. I know Flip likes his players to at least practice with the team before playing, but with KG's high basketball IQ and familiarity with Flip's system, I don't see why this should be an issue. He should play...especially if AB isn't able to go.
It's a better narrative for Garnett to play his first game at home. After all, Garnett wasn't brought here to win games this season. He's here to distract from tanking. "Mentor" young players. Pave the way toward ownership. Instill professionalism (effort). Et al.
I think Garnett will miss a few road games the rest of the way.

I get the part about wanting his first game to be a home game, abe. All the more reason it should have been last Friday. Charter a plane and fly your entire entourage of baggy pants homeys in from Los Angeles. Show that you really want to change the culture here. And while I will have no problem with Flip giving him a day off now and then, I won't be tolerant of him missing any road trips. That wouldn't be consistent with providing value for the $3 million Glen is paying him the rest of this season.
If he is on the bench tonight as Youngblood suggests, my irritation about this will be tempered. But not being in the building Friday (as Thad was for the Nets) does seem to be inconsistent with the narrative Flip is building.

Now that's funny LST. I needed that this morning

For $10M a year he better be playing every single game, no days off, in the best shape of his career.

You still don't really comprehend what this trade is all about. It's about making the other players better, and thus making the team better. You can be skeptical that will happen, but you don't even acknowledge it.

I'VE ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGED THE REASONS SEVERAL TIMES. I GET IT. I UNDERSTAND IT. I COMPREHEND IT. I CAN SEE THE TRADE FROM FLIP'S PERSPECTIVE.
$10M a year for this version of KG, the player and the "mentor", is fucking ridiculous any way you slice it.

Ahh... You are referring to any extension beyond this year. Nice to see you getting upset over something that hasn't happened. Flip even addressed this in the Funkadelic.
