I'm not mad at that second quarter. Good battle. There's a rally or two left in this one and I think Minnesota's got more juice than New Orleans does when it counts. I can't imagine the Russell/Edwards backcourt playing any worse than that from a shot-making standpoint. Feeling okay about this second half upcoming.

Also, I need more minutes for Jarred Vanderbilt. Minnesota desperately needs to rebound the basketball and aside from Karl-Anthony Towns he's their best bet to make an impact on the glass.

I'll tell you what. JoVal is such a good player. Just stands in there like a mountain among molehills sucking up every rebound, staying down on his feet, setting killer screens, and generally making the right play. Didn't bat an eye at Bev's antics.

JoVal did get a technical foul called on him there so I'm not sure I'd say he was unfazed by PatBev's antics. But yeah, he's always a tough matchup. He just knows his role and completely excels at it.

Agreed the most underrated player in the NBA. Was the Grizzlies best player last year
