That's my point.
She's parroting talking points (almost always) about what one side thinks but only for her own financial gain. Use yourself as the mouthpiece if that's what you want to do. It's a heckuva lot more genuine.
All too often, we seek out people who think like us. It's how politics and social media work. Personally, I don't want to be grouped with some of these slimeballs, including the Candace Owens types.
And I tune them out the moment I see them. The inherent disingenuous to their personas skews any message they have.
Okay... You're inherently right to that opinion.
And my opinion will be that Candace Owens is no longer a conservative in (x) years ... when the marketplace for her services dictate that its no longer best for her career.
Hell, we see this every day across the spectrum. In fact, we almost had two really really rich and old guys battling for president who swapped political parties seemingly on a whim (Bloomberg v. Trump).
Is it because their ideologies changed? Not really. Trump remains a savvy businessman and masterclass branding savant. Bloomberg might have seen a path forward for his ego? It's fine to switch political parties or evolve ideologically. Evolution is GREAT.
But when swapping those positions means being 100% opposed to your previous takes in 100% of the cases... in a clearly black-and-white are the only two colors world... Fuck those types of people.
The world is gray. It's blue. It's orange. And it's really fricking complicated to truly come to terms with certain issues if we're being honest about them. Yet, we see people everyday make snap judgements on them to coincide with the way their chosen political party thinks.
[Note: I'm not classifying you into there... this just got me ranting a bit.]
