Make it happen, Cam!!

Oh, I would have traded Wiggins a thousand times by now -- likely would have actually got something of real value for him years ago.

Yes they will have to pay Siakam (low cap hold) and they aren't a top FA destination (and not a great class next year) but will they want to give that up that space to add Wiggins? That option will likely be available later if they want to do it...unless you think there is some secret underground market for Wiggins. Lol

If by "underground" you mean the market for Wiggins is dead I think you're correct.

You are suggesting it was alive to begin with. I really like that optimism!!!

That's right, Cam. The time to trade Wiggins was 2-3 years ago. Many of us on this Board wanted to see that happen. It was widely reported that the Bulls would have traded Butler straight up for Wiggins. That was the deal to do, even if we would have had to include Dunn.

Yech . . . Superteams in LA.

#1. I can go back to rooting for Golden State and their open brand of basketball.

#2. I can root for Portland, who got incrementally better in FA.

#3. I can go back to hating the Lakers (I never really stopped, but it's been pointless for some time).

#4. I respect Doc, but he's not a great coach. He's a manager of personalities.

They're playing on house money. They can have a feelgood story while they rebuild. And Canadians would love the idea of trying the local route, I don't think the dysfunction of MLSE can be overlooked at this point even though Masai hit the jackpot.

You are going to have to educate me on the MLSE (has to google what that even meant) dysfunction is all about.

The Raptors are owned by the Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment, which is unusual as it is a corporation rather than one owner or a small ownership group. It makes for strange top down decisions that aren't necessarily about winning when their fan base is so loyal. The hockey side of things has been crazy for a while in this area. The basketball too until Masai, but I can't see Masai staying very long there, and the Raptors are going to need a feel good story in a bit when the reality of life after Kawhi sets in.

Gotcha. So if Masai leaves...(teams would love to get him) then the Wiggins to Toronto dream would be alive? I think Rosas needs a 2nd in command that makes about 20 million a year don't you? lol
