A while ago, many were commenting they wouldn't take Little or White from NC. Love them for that team, but they are NOT NBA players right now. White is just NOT a PG. He has no instincts for the position. He will get hot as a shooter at times, but IMO can't play PG in the NBA without drastic improvements to his game. And Little, while a great athlete, also seems to be severely lacking any basketball IQ or offensive game. It's strange, because I think this NC team may win the whole thing, but I am not sure they have any top-tier NBA talent. I know at least White will be picked high, but I don't see an avenue for him to be anything more than serviceable as a combo guard.

If White is a serviceable combo guard I'll take it. When was the last time we had one of those? We need a secondary scorer who can handle the ball off KAT.

Give me all of the Tyler Herro shares. He's going to be a star at the next level.

I watched part of that game. To me I saw part of why people really like White and why people don't. There is a dynamic ability he has with the ball in his hands. On the other hand there is some lacking of good decision making. He had one drive he kinda got past his guy then the defender recovered the defense was there and he threw up some insanely bad underhand scoop shot that Steph Curry probably would shake his head at. Defensively I saw a guy working hard but some instincts lacking. To me what is intriguing about him is...so if he isn't a PG...fine he looks to have enough length to play as a SG if he can actually shoot well enough. He is thin though.

Cam brought up Herro. I watched a chunk of the game last night and comparing him to White he looked miles better fundamentally. His defense is better. He knows what he is doing gets his footwork going and is stronger. On the other end he has the same fundamental approach while looking to attack. I think White is probably quicker and all that but Herro knows what he is doing AND the biggest thing is Herro is a shooter. Over 90% from the FT as a freshman? That's very good. I'll be interested to see how these guys measure out. It's a small sample size but I'd take Herro right now. I think White does have some real potential the question is whether or not he actually realizes it. It feels like Herro has a pretty good flooring I do think he has potential to be a pretty good player. I'm wanting to see more.

Also...Duke got lucky again. Not as egregious as the previous game (would have went to OT) but giving up that inbounds play was kinda bad.

Zion has a better handle than Wigs at 75 pounds heavier.

Part of me just wants Cassius Winston. It's somewhat irrational I know but the guy knows how to play.

He's a guy I brought up a while back. Love his "old man game". He is also one of the top 2-3 shooters in college basketball. High bball IQ as well. The bad, he is slow-footed and will have serious trouble guarding at the NBA level. But yeah, he is a very good player.

Other than Zion, I'm not sure there is a guy on Duke I'd want. RJ Barrett has some great "do shit" stats but his outside shot is balky and he seems a little slow for a wing.Cam Reddish is a total mess and Tre Jones is too much like Tyus....not a good enough shooter/scorer.

Cassius Winston is a great college floor general that just outsmarts most players, but tough seeing him playing much at the next level.

Im with you, not super impressed with Barrett or Reddish. Outside of Ja and Zion I haven't really loved that many people in this draft. I like Hunter and Culver but I don't know if they will be anything more than role players in the league. I know there are always very good players in every draft but I am not super excited about this years prospects.

But its all good, the next time we get to see Zion he will be teaming up with KAT and the Wolves are set to win multiple titles. How I have been running in poker lately I am due to hit a 1 outer. Its happening.
