This is going to be a very long season.

Its nuts how unprepared we can be in the middle of a game.

Throw a zone, we looked confused.
Switch between big and small line ups, we look confused.
Throw bodies at kat and wiggs while leaving everyone else open, we oblige.

Maybe KATs worst game of the year. Somehow I think it can go either way when he goes up against other star bigs. He wants it too much or something. Nothing really good about this one beyond KBD showing why he deserves minutes.

I was proud of Bates-Diop and Okogie in this one. Thought everyone else underperformed, especially defensively and on the glass... and on the sideline.

They shot well. But the Lakers toyed with us and could have named their final score.

That's what I came here to write, too.

Sadly... it's sorta similar to what's been written when the Wolves play good teams for the better part of 15 years. They're not remotely close to competing. Fine. So give them a couple of years. Fine.

Then, we'll run through the playoff version of "we're not close to competing" because the playoffs are entirely different. Meh.

I'm getting tempted to tune out a bit. Not that the Wolves can't be entertaining. And it's not an absolute trainwreck. 10 - 12 is "fine." But the team is just so far away from being anything legit. And virtually all of these guys will be gone by the time the Wolves can legitimately battle for a playoff spot. Investing in this makeshift team is sorta tough right now. They're placeholders.

Maybe the Wolves will get to the playoffs before Towns is gone. But I'm not all that confident about it. To be fair though... it's not like more than 1/2 the league makes the playoffs and it's super hard or anything...

LeBron is good and AD is alright too. The Wolves were even hot from 3, but no defense this entire game was sad. Yes I know the Lakers are decent, so credit them for being ok.

AD has owned KAT these last few years it seems. I don't know what it is. AD comes to play and shove it down KAT's throat.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis had a 148.1 offensive rating (+38.1 Net) in the 23 minutes they shared the floor tonight. Just absurd.

Missed this one. Unfortunate that in one of the few games we are making shots we can't defend anyone. While the OKC game is worth getting depressed about, this one is not. The Lakers are truly the real deal. Great coach. Two superstars. The right role players. We're in the throes of a tough part of the schedule. The OKC game was a killer.

Yeah, nice to see him get on track again after that last bad outing. Culver and Okogie looked like they had halfway decent games as well. Okogie seems to have been straightening out his 3 a bit lately. Good to see.

We have some intriguing talent that is still very young: Okogie, Culver, and Nowell especially have a lot of headroom for growth.

Ya they had lebron guard okogie last night and he just let him open and he made them pay from 3. What is huge for his development. We can't play 4 on 5 and last night okogie made them pay what is nice to see
