Okogie is indeed playing better this year. His outside shot still sucks, but he's basically doing everything else just a little bit better - rebounding, passing, deflections, etc. He is especially benefiting from a system that limits mid to long 2's. Okogie basically gets all his points at the rim or at the free-throw line. So despite his crappy shot, it hasn't stopped him from getting to the bucket and improving his overall scoring efficiency dramatically.

I was expecting the Wolves to get to .500...so this win was a pleasant surprise!

Towns was dumb and brilliant tonight. He went at Gobert for the most part and he ended up getting the best of him. He just went bonkers with those 3's.

The Wolves had some mind boggling LT bad after CJ es that I thought might lose then the game. After getting a bigger lead early in the 3rd quarter their offense was stagnant and they were doing dumb stuff. They had another stretch like that I think it was in the 4th quarter. They had some rough lineups out there and held the fort enough to stay in it.

Martin has been looking good as a 2 point shooter. Dude looks like he can score. His defense looks like someone else said passable. He had some pretty good possessions later in the game on that end.

KBD isn't getting love and he wasn't amazing but he basically played the boring version of Jake Layman just being solid. His length came in handy a few times.

I liked that Ryan went with Martin late in the game over Graham. They needed more of an offensive guy and Martin had played well plus Graham was in foul trouble.

Dieng was a better matchup in this game playing against Gobert. He gave the team some good minutes. I wonder if they brought up Reid in case they needed a guy to jack up 3's and make Gobert come out of the paint.

Teague was a mixed bag but he was mostly good. They would have lost this game if he didn't play.

The Jazz didn't look too good Conely was meh...basically looked about as good as Teague which probably isn't great all things considered. Ingles looked bad. What's up with him? The Jazz did miss some shots but I do think the Wolves did some good things defensively.

On the ried thing. Apparently towns has banged up and they called up Ried for insurance if towns couldn't fight through the pain
