I remember Lip wanted Paul George.

I considered Cousins the most talented ted player in the draft. I couldn't decide if he was going too much of a head case or not and we had Pek. I was on board with Wes because in theory he was the athletic wing that could hit jumpers the team had been looking for forever. I think less than half of the board was on board with the pick at all. I think there was one poster that had interest in getting Greg Monroe.

Cousins was my choice. After that it was Monroe, George and Henry. I also liked Bradley and Bledsoe more than I liked Wes. Wes was old and he was nothing special in high school, nothing special at Iowa State and had one good year at a system school (Syracuse) and a nice vertical. Verticals to me are vastly overrated.

I was fine with the Wes pick as well at the time. 4 just ended up being too high for a 3 and D wing who couldn't handle the ball on a team without a real playmaking/scoring PG to set him up. I think if you put him on a team where he was a role player from day 1 his career could have had a better result. He just went too high, but he's still in the league so it's not the worst pick ever.

Sure. I've been a Wolf fan a long time and I missed on a few. I didn't think Love would be better than Mayo and I didn't peg Zach. Other than those two, I think my top pick was either the same or better than the Wolves actual pick. I had KG, KAT, Ricky (not Curry) etc. Cousins, DeRozan and Brandon Roy, I had over Wes, Flynn and Foye. I also had Noah over Brewer and DeAndre Jordan over Pek.
