I missed the first half and about the first 4 minutes of the 3rd because I worked late tonight, but it seemed like a fairly close game in the first half and 3rd. In the second Charlotte extended it to 12, but we cut it to 2 by half. Aside from that, it seems like it was never more than 1-2 possessions the entire game. But wasn't it after a timeout that we just came out like gangbusters halfway through the fourth? Maybe the Charlotte players didn't step up, but shouldn't they be motivated to win a winnable game when they're in the thick of the playoff hunt in the east? I really think we might just be a different team after the trade. We've had quite talented teams in the past, but there seems to be a fire under this squad that stretches from one end of the bench to the other. "We can't win without you Jimmy? Watch us."

The wiggins putback knocked the wind out of the hornets in the 2q and then kat wouldnt let them take a breath in the 4th.

I wonder if they have that poster of Jimmy saying that posted inside the locker room door that they all slap when they run out.

Teague has gotta take that shot. An open 3 is way more efficient than a post up, even in a mismatch situation.
Totally agree, I blame part of this on coaching, just like I partially blame Tibs for Wigs contested long 2's. Parting of coaching now is understanding efficiency. Tibs has no clue what that means. I'm watching the game on replay. Was at the gopher game tonight, great game btw. Jim Pete has been all over our horrible spacing, that's coaching gentlemen, we have shooter but now but have zero idea how to space the floor, which creates open 3's and driving lanes. I love when Jim Pete critized the action we run when we post Kat up. He's so right. It's very clear Pete doesn't think highly of Tibs designs and coaching in general.
I know I need to let this go but it's tough for me, need to go see my therapist but how is Okogie not playing???? I know LST will praise Tyus because as I'm sure he lead in +/- but cmon. He can't score, I know he does some nice things on the court. Part the ball in Rose's hands with Okogie or sit Gorgui and play Saric and RoCo at the 4 and 5 and watch how good the spacing would be. Stupid.
I know, but, 18/3 for a +33. I know +/- can be misleading, but he had an ast/to game you write home about and led the team in +/-. I'd pick a different game, personally, to trash Teague.
