Yeah, in all the Warriors championship seasons there are probably 4-5 guys on each team that none of us remember. Making the playoffs because you're were a key component isn't the same as making the playoffs because the rest of the team is stacked.

Remember that possible 2021/2022 pick is when hs students become eligible again. Theres a reason why teams want future picks and why no one really wants to part with it.

Anyone listen to Zach Lowe's podcast? I'm curious what his thoughts were.

I'm incredulous after all the failure, all the bad picks, all the bad trades, all the bad coaches, all the bad front office execs - that so many of you still have such faith that this organization is going to succeed. Glen Taylor and you deserve each other.

I may be in the minority but i think this is a terrible trade. I would rather have gave up our 2020 top 3 protected then 2021. 2020 looks like a terrible draft and i have no faith we will be good in 2021. This trade is going to really bite us in the ass in 2021. I like russell but this was the bad feeling i really hoped wouldnt happen.

GS wanted the 2021 pick all along, and I heard we gave up the second rounder as well. Incredibly stupid trade imo. I don't value Russell any higher than Wiggins, but I did want Wig traded at some point. I just didn't see the need to give up more than the Brooklyn pick. How many teams actually give up a potential lottery pick with so little protection?

The wolves for some reason took on 3 guys in the Cov trade that all need new deals next season. Why not take the Hou first rounder and offer that up with the Brooklyn pick.

Russell is a hard guy to watch play, and I don't see it getting any better with KAT. I predict 2021/2022 when Russsell and KAT both want out. Same time that Rosas is shown the door, and the wolves have nothing to rebuild with, not that I will be watching anymore. Maybe I'll join Cool, cheering for the bucks. Nah, that would be too much like being a cheesehead.
