The thing what is depressing is the wolves top 5 players have been healthy

Yes, we underachieved this season given the relatively good health of the team. I do feel like we have learned a lot over these last few weeks and can feel really good about the young core. Moving LaVine to full-time SG has just added a whole new level of dynamism to the starting 5. The result has been a faster pace, more 3-point shooting, and less reliance on iso-ing Wiggins against a wall of bodies. And with Rubio steering the ship, they have become an incredibly efficient offensive unit.

I still see plenty of stuff that went wrong this season to a team that needed nearly everything to go their way to get much more than 30 wins. Pek basically was a non factor and some of the time he probably hurt the team. KG...seems likely done. Martin was underwhelming missed a decent chunk of games and brought back nothing but an open roster spot. The Wolves had to rely on young players plenty.

The good news is that the most important players for the future have been good and mostly healthy and Dieng is a guy that's really improved which is great to see. Tyus also has shown some signs he might be a worthwhile player which is a good thing since he is the youngest guy on the team and costs very little. Really the only significant decision for this team to make is what to add in the offseason and if they think it's time to move Bazz. It's been a successful season so far IMO despite the record being meh at best.

23 Wins. WildWolf and Lip on the clock. Mid Twenties looking like the landing spot.

Amazing to think how potentially accurate Vegas was with us. I wonder if they were working on the assumption Rubio was going to miss significant time?

I'm sure they were assuming injuries to KG, Pek, and probably 10-20 games out for Rubio. On the other hand, there is no way they could have expected KAT to be this freakin' good. So between Rubio staying healthy and KAT being really good, I think it's fair for fans to feel like we underachieved with this roster.

I had them pegged at 26 wins - and that's before pre-season, after which a lot of you flip-floppers changed your numbers. But I will admit that I was thinking we would get hit with more injuries overall. I wasn't expecting to stay this healthy, so I kind of agree that we underachieved a bit too.

I was at 25 originally... playing the Price is Right game after losing out to you by one win last season.

I changed my mind during preseason. But not because of the play on the court. I don't think you can learn too much from preseason games.

But I thought Saunders' death was going to put a pall of doom over the team all season.

[Note: And even though I dug Towns... I didn't expect THIS.]

I wonder what factor Martin had for Vegas when setting that line. I'm not sure you can figure out a worse scenario than what he ultimately ended up giving the wolves this year.
