The opponents don't seem to need time to adjust. Wiggins is playing like garbage on the offensive end and doing so without any apparent fire, that frustrates me.
How many teams have as many 1,2, or 3 year players as we do? We are young, there will be growing pains
I'm not frustrated by the team overall, nor the young guys overall, just sick of watching Wiggins take long jumpers and miss almost all of them while not appearing to give a damn. There isn't another player on the team as nonchalant as Wiggins, and it just aggravates the hell out of me.
Thats all. :d
He's a second year player and former ROY. Time to take the kid-gloves off!
Guys go through cold streaks with their shot. Fine. But then make shit happen elsewhere. Get an offensive rebound. Dive for a loose ball. Make a steal. Stop fucking jumping on every pump fake! God, he gets nailed for one of those every game!
He's not having a great night either, but the difference is Wiggins is a second-year, former ROY continuing to settle over and over and over again on offense despite seeing good things happen when he attacks, like that baseline dunk. He's also not contributing elsewhere, which is equally frustrating. Not to mention, he continues to leave his feet on defense even though you'd think he'd have learned his lesson by now. He's shown zero improvement thus far. I'm worried about him.
Win as a team lose as a team. Unfortunately when Garnett leaves the floor the defense is rudderless. It is too much responsibility to ask of Towns at this point. And Wiggins only seems to lock into his one guy. But that is the direction we need to head quickly if we are going to be competitive at all this year. The cool thing is that Towns seems to have it in him, but tonight he is lost inside so far. At least there is another half to play. I bet Sam is railing them all pretty hard.
