I'm sure he can be had cheap player wise as long as you eat salary.

Boy this would have been a great series if Kyrie didn't get hurt. It didn't even look like he did much to get re-injured so I think he's done. He might gut it out but I don't see him playing the same the rest of the series. Cleveland's only real chance was to close it out in regulation. Iso ball also dies a slow and painful death when you run out of gas like they did at the end.

I'd rather spend his salary than eat it. Lol

Wonder how much Tristian Thompson would cost? Too bad he wasn't in the Love trade.

Some on this board actually wanted Anthony Bennett over Tristan Thompson... I won't throw out names, but uhh... Yeah.

Ouch. Thompson would have solved the PF issue and we would still have the Payne pick. Ok I'll stop.

Eh, I bet he gets close to the max, and even though Bennett had been a bust I would rather have him knowing that he is a bust than over paying for a average at best nba starting pf

Very good point, kek. I like TT's game and think he has been very helpful in the Bulls and Hawks series, but he's offensively challenged. The guy only scored 2 points in 47 minutes last night!

Well when your offense is either ISO LeBron or ISO Irving then the other guys won't be scoring much. TT did a great job in other aspects.

Agree 100%. Between the constant Lebron iso ball (is his shot broken?) and GS having no care for the quality of shots they were throwing up the product on the floor left a bit to be desired. But as the way the NBA goes the last 4 minutes made up for it.

But would TT other aspects like offensive rebounding be as valuable if his defender was not as focused on LBJ or Irving allowing TT to get great offensive rebounding position. That is why I would rather have Bennett, instead of paying TT close to max money for an average at best starting PF

I'm a little skeptical of TT's defense night in and out against PFs but aside from that part of me thinks if he gets a max deal or close its a joke and not to take away from him he is playing really well but he isn't a scorer. On the flip side let's say he gets a million or so maybe even 2 million a year less than the max this offseason. In one year when the cap goes up it may be like paying him around 10 million a year or something in today's dollars. That might still be overpaying a bit but if he can play good D and rebound the hell out of the ball especially on the offensive boards it might not be a bad deal. I'd imagine if we had gotten him in the trade we would be worried about overpaying because it's obvious he would have played a ton for the wolves and would have likely rebounded the hell out of the ball all season and probably scored in double digits. After seeing the bigs for the Wolves last year I would love to have that problem. Lol

Meanwhile can anyone recommend a good life coach for AB? Rubio said he just needs confidence.
