You guys might want to look in the mirror!
Abe do you remember this post -
Be realistic. The hyperbole/homer optimism is too much in this case. It doesn't make sense.
Harden leads the league in free throw attempts. 9.2... with a sophisticated game and handle to draw those fouls at a ridiculous rate. Plus, a winning team that gets a few more freebies at the end of wins.
Wiggins is at 4.3 per game. Not bad for a rookie without much of a handle. You expect him to get 7 more attempts per game... and shoot 11+ attempts per game to lead the rest of the league by a wide margin? And he's not simply because of "bad calls?"
Remember, he's only shooting 69% from the line. So he'll need to get there at least 7 more times to make 5.
Of course Wiggins went on to do exactly that a couple of months later.
YOu based the 11+ FT's on his being able to score 5 more points. He was scoring over 20 at that point which was more than the 5.
Q, Abe and you missed the point, but I highlighted it for you.
You two can go back and read the entire exchange, and you'll realize I am not missing the point, and the 11+ was your doing Abe, not mine. I said he could be scoring 4-5 more points.

May be I am missing the point. I don't care about whose take was right or wrong about Wiggins. I was commenting on the juvenile nature of Cool's response(s) and reconciling that to his mature age (50s or 60s).
