The sportsnation poll on ESPN which asks, "If you were the Cavaliers' GM, would you trade Andrew Wiggins as part of a deal to get Kevin Love?" is split 49% Yes 51% No with over 80,000 votes.

I think that's realistic, volans. It's an interesting deal. 2 #1's for a hugely productive PF. Easy to make an argument both ways. It's good that LeBron appears to have cast his vote.

What is wrong with those "No" people? Love's game is really getting disrespected this offseason.

Mike -- I agree with you completely! This isn't a close question. Love is more than hugely productive. He's a perennial all-star, the best player at his position and a top 10 player in the entire League. He's the League's best or second-best rebounder and a top 5 scorer in the League. He is also a terrific passer. He's a very good three-pointer shooter but can also score inside. Oh, and he's still only 25 years old. Wiggins hasn't even played a game in the NBA and, even if the most optimistic projections come to pass, his ability to move the needle for the Cavs is at least a couple years away. Meanwhile LeBron is about to turn 30 years old. Put Love with LeBron, Irving, Varejao, Mike Miller and others and you have the best team in the East with a real shot at multiple championships over a number of years.

A lot of clueless idiots out there who pathetically undervalue Kevin Love.

I gotta agree guys. I've thought this trade should have been a no-brainer from the beginning.

I really want no part of Bennett. He isn't a typical #1 pick in that Cleveland clearly reached for him in what was a weak draft. Love will look like the DOY compared to Bennett and he obviously is far from a finished product on offense. Give me Thompson instead, not because he is that great, but because I'm convinced Bennett is terrible.

Exact quote from source : "We have accepted the offer. It's Waiters, Thompson, and Wiggins for Love and the rights to GRIII" word for word.

Thompson is about to get a raise, that's the negative on him Q. But either way, this trade would be all about Wiggins. If we got Bennett, we could renounce him in a year if he stunk anyway.

Who is Tspence and why do we believe him?

I don't know the guy, but after seeing Bennett today, this is probably a better deal.
