Zgoda points out that Love refers to the Wolves as "they" during the interview. Nice.

Sure I have favorite players, but that pales in comparison to feelings I have for the team. So when Love doesn't buy in to the team he is under contract with, it rubs me the wrong way and I could really care less about him. If you're not for us, you're against us.
You should be a million times more mad at the guy whose made the name of the front of that jersey into one of the biggest laughingstocks in all of sports

He's trying to play both sides of the fence and appear blameless because he wants to maintain his appeal in as many markets as possible. Read between the lines and it's obvious he's forcing a trade. Just doesn't want to take the PR hit.
I don't blame him for wanting to leave. We whiffed on too many lottery picks, and that's that. When you bottom out for half a dozen years in a non-destination market, you NEED to come out the other end with two top 20 players. One isn't enough; he just gets frustrated and inevitably flee.
Derrick Williams, Johnny Flynn, Wes Johnson, Corey Brewer, even Ricky Rubio to a lesser extent... we NEEDED one of these guys to be a legit All-star. Didn't happen, and now Love is gone. Oh well. Draft better next run.

The comments seem worse, to me, when you see him saying them...and laughing along with the others. Thx for posting, even though it does piss me off.
I agree. Love comes off as an insincere brat. To be this passive aggressive, he definitely belongs in Minnesota. :). He makes it crystal clear he wants to play for another team. Best way for the Wolves organization to get back at him is to make him stay here another year. :)

Call me crazy, but should a guy who is UNDER CONTRACT for next season be able to make comments like he does in the interview above? I like how he says "it's time for people to be watching me."
Cool I'm with you brah, Love has lost me completely at this point. A major part of me was holding out that we would keep him and play well enough to change his mind next season, but now I'm 100% trade him.

Does Love have the right to be frustrated? Yes. Is he a brat? Yes. I think Love is a top 7 player in the NBA but man I do not like him. He doesn't take the blame for anything. It is never his fault, even though he is a great player he struggles in the clutch. I am not saying it is not warranted but he calls out other players every other week during the season. In the end I think it is good for the wolves to trade Love for draft picks IMO with the Celtics. Surround Rubio with 3pt shooters and hope one turns into a star.
Side note what is with everyone throwing Kmart into trades as a filler. I mean he makes 6 mil a year and averages almost 20 pts per game. He might not be a good defender but come on people he is a top 10 SG in the league who comes pretty cheap for his services.

Also not this year but next love will join Miami with Lebron taking over for bosh, then they will sign melo, then ask dwade to take the MLE or haslem money, a big 4 (why do I like the NBA)

*Summing it up*
"How close do you think the Wolves are to competing for a playoff spot?"
"If they're healthy, they can do a lot of damage. Now with Flip as the coach, been there done that in both the East and the West. He's gonna do a great job. I think they're very close."
Damn, Kevin. That's that hurt.

It's so petty at this point I'd love to see him stay and get DNPs coaches decision for the year. "Stay ready Kev your number will be called any game now." Then fine him once he starts refusing to show up. Then have Crunch key his car.
