Indeed I did. I believe we had this discussion once on the old ESPN board. I think I was ahead of you too....Class of '87. Jefferson won state titles in b-ball thanks to Kevin Lynch my junior and senior year.

I'm hoping we only need Aldrich for 12 MPG next year, but it's good to know he can be effective as a starter in case KAT ever needs a night off. Here are some highlights from his start last April...21 points (10 for 15), 18 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 5 steals.

He PnR'd all game...rolls to the basket very well. Easy to see him doing this with Rubio. nice footwork and post moves, and able to finish with either hand. I especially like his Bazz-like second effort on the offensive boards. The Clipper actually went to him in the paint with the game on the line. Only 1 block, but it's a beauty.

Solid FA signing. I am still in shock at what Al Jefferson signed for.

Yeah, that was a great block! He has some good post moves, can use the left pretty well too.

Just listened to it. Great guy - super down to earth. He is going to be a very nice steadying presence coming off the bench.

So refreshing to hear this young man speak in a humble, genuine manner. Maybe could have gotten more money elsewhere but chose to come home and be around family and friends. Count me in as big fan.

Miles Plumblee getting 4 years 52 million makes Adlrich look like even more of a bargain. The below article makes an interesting case for Plumblee and I like him but I'll take Aldrich for nearly half the cost.
