Yup he has become a favorite of mine this season. He just competes and play his ass off. He never was a good defender and is a liability when he needs to guard sg's but he just competes out there. |he is also a great vet as he constantly talks and encourage his teammates.

It's a good start, and I'm not going to diminish this victory. Yes, Allen was out, but we beat NJ by 4 in the first half when Levert was playing. And the Nets only loss in their previous 4 games was to the Warriors, and wins included Philly by 25 and in Denver. This is not a bad team, and beating them by 7 with 2 potential starters not arrived yet and Teague and Wig not at full strength is a good win.
Not enough chatter about the Renaissance Rose is having . Just as an individual player it's pretty cool to see he clearly worked his tail off to make it back to prove the naysayers wrong. He's not a perfect player but the youngster can learn a lot about perseverance from him. If he stays healthy he's more of a vital cog than we ever expected to see. There's one good story happening on this team let's celebrate that!
Jeff and wiggins probably shouldn't have played tonight, but according to thibs he needed their minutes. Both guys are playing hurt to get that first win post jimmy.
I think teague is going to be lips favorite player on the wolves.

Rose does play his butt off and even though he isn't what he once was his athletism and effort lead to some good things. He had at least one block dug out some balls on guys and also has a few plays a game where he is way up there battling a big for the ball trying to at least keep them alive. It felt like Teague was giving a pretty good amount of effort in this game on the defensive end most of the game.
Rose's massive injection of pace has been maybe as much of a reveleation to this team as his 3 point shooting...ok maybe I can't decide but both have been very welcome.
I think he may need to sit out a game soon just to rest that ankle but hopefully with Covington abailable Rose can at least play fewer minutes.

One thing I think is unfortunate is that people complain about Thibs and how he isn't getting the most out of his players but that's often never considered when it comes to Teague. It's unfortunate that Teague doesn't get any benefit of the doubt. Hopefully he can stay healthy he may need to sit out a game in the future (maybe alternate with Rose or something) to help get right. If Bayless is actually healthy maybe he can play a few minutes if needed.
Overall the game was ugly and the Wolves got a win. All things considered I'll take an ugly win. It was good to see Teague come back and play well. I was yelling and pounding the table for them to get the damn ball a few times but I don't think this team plays withba complete lack of energy even in those times. Guys need to actually box out. That takes energy but also discipline. I'm hoping Covington can help in those areas.
It was good to hear today that Lavert only dislocated his ankle. I was wondering if that's what happened when I watched the replay but even that's plenty serious but obviously it was a wonderful outcome considering what it seemed like it could have been. The reactions from various players showing how it affected them shows these guys are human.
