Well that sucked. Most of Wiggins' shots tonight had no chance of going in, he was just completely out of sync. Agree d with the above comment, this was the game we missed Lavine the most. They kept hitting timely 3's when they needed them, while we only had two offensive players, and when one of those guys is Ricky you are in trouble.
Maybe Sacramento can come through tonight...doubt it though, they are not good.

They've sucked for 2 straight games. Just bad.

Wiggins had a hell of a February, but his shot making has been terrible in March so far. I can see why Thibs went away from him in a "point Wiggins" set, but there has to be some other creative ways to get him involved without it always being as a ball handler at the top of the key.

Rubio with a hell of a game scoring the ball. But this isn't something we should expect nightly....needed Wiggins and others to step up and make some big shots, but it didn't happen. Rush just killed us tonight.

Ricky's attacking and scoring like the kind of guard I've been wanting on this team. He's playing a big part in us hanging in there as well.
If you want a PG that can do this on a nightly basis (e.g. 20+ efficient points) you better be prepared to trade Wiggins or KAT.
Why? You can still afford a big 3 in the NBA with this CBA especially when 1 or both of Wiggins and Towns will be on mini-maxes. I'd have to trade Lavine, Towns or Wiggins, but not 2 of the 3. And sure in 6 years I'd only be able to keep Towns and Wiggins, but that's way too far out to account for now.
Efficient 20+ PPG scorers don't grow on trees. Please throw out some ideas if it's so easy to find a PG like the one you are describing.
20 per night isn't needed. It's just needed more than 3 times a year. Rose is available this summer. If Portland misses the playoffs CJ might become available. Jrue Holiday, Jeff Teague and George Hill are all UFA's this summer. If Phoenix gets the top pick Bledsoe might become available. Clarkson might become available if the Lakers get a top 2 pick. Plenty of guys who could be available who can do it a lot more often than Ricky.

The only two guys who came to play tonight were rubio and towns. Wiggins was atrocious as was belly who made so many boneheaded plays tonight. Missed two wide open layups and just played very soft. One rebound he should have had with minimal effort but didnt and lead to a 3.
Also, Im getting tired of Dieng. He needs to be a bench guy. When they are doubling and tripling towns dieng doesnt seem to do anything. Sits by the damn free throw line hoping to get that shot. No excuse for him not doing more. Needs to be eating glass.

I sure hope Wiggins grows into a more consistent scorer and out of this extreme streakiness. He either cannot make a shot from 6" away or can miss from anywhere. The team's playoff lives as it stands now will depend upon him getting hot and remaining hot or finding someone who can be counted on alongside KAT.

Derrick Rose!? You still think he would be an upgrade to Rubio? Yuck. That's even worse than your desire for Ty Lawson over Rubio.
Teague and Holiday are actually credible options, but free agency is a crapshoot. My guess is Thibs looks elsewhere to spend his $. It will either be a bigger wing that can give us more than Rush/Shabazz or a PF that can give us more than Bjelly and potentially put Dieng on the bench.
Unfortunately for you, you may be stuck with Rubio again next season or a different version of Rubio by the name of Kris Dunn!

It's possible Rubio's improved offense is a byproduct of the Thibs' effect. Lets see how it plays out over the remainder of the season. Hopefully we make it to the playoffs and get a chance to see this teams strengths and weaknesses in a playoff series.

Please point out in the last year when I said Ty Lawson over Ricky. There was a point when I would have taken Lawson over Ricky, but it hasn't been recently.
