Wiggins out rebounded Love. Didn't see that coming. (didn't know Love was hurt either)
Zach is in a funk for sure. Starting Shabazz is dumb. Giving Shabazz some of Zachs minutes when he is struggling is not. We really need to resign Shabazz this offseason.
Dunn doesn't look like a PG to me. If everyone is correct we have 3 SG's right now.

I assumed you were being cryptically funny knowing Love was out.

Obviously I was given way to much credit. :-)

I've been saying this since Wiggins was on the team. Start Bazz with Wiggins, let them muck it up and create havoc. We have the potential for matchups in our favor that we don't take out of convention.
Yeah, I agree with this take, as it seems several others here do too. I like moving Shabazz into the starting lineup for several reasons.
-it rewards a guy who has consistently worked hard for us, and improved greatly on defense.
-it allows Wig to play more minutes at his better position...SG.
-it allows Zach to match up more with the opponents' backup SG
-maybe the reduced pressure of starting gets Zach going offensively again...his defense will remain a work in process.
Just going to make counterpoint to your argument.
?There is no promises that moving wiggins to the 2 improves the team
?Will shabazz continue his "good" defense when he is going against starters, also what happens to his offense when the likes of kawhi, George and lebron are guarding him now.
?What happens when shabazz 3pt shot falls off does he move back to the bench or do we continue to run with him.
?Shabazz and his agent are now given leverage this offseason because he is a starter now.
?How pissed does lavine get a 21 year old 19pt per game scorer gets bench the first time he goes through a slump. I understand we can match any offer but we don't want to create a toxic environment.
?What happens to the rotation, the bench might struggle with shabazz now starting and no instant offense. Lavine already plays with the bench a lot but from the eye test he hasn't played as well with them. Does shabazz get a big jump in minutes now?

Anyone else notice Bjelica and Rubio being in sync last night. Rubio leading the break is a thing of beauty.

Nice counterpoints Kekgeek. Thibs has adamantly stuck to his rotations this year and allowed guys to work themselves out of some rough patches (remember, Shabazz was not good early in the year). He's not going to change his approach now, that's for sure.
That being said, I think it's legitimate to question the long-term fit of LaVine and Wiggins as our starting wings. Once the regular season ends, he may think long and hard about the wing situation and whether he needs to do something to create a more complimentary pairing.

I don't disagree with you but I don't want to bench lavine for a guy who will not be the long term SF option in shabazz. (I like shabazz) Now if we obtain someone via the draft, free agent like porter or Hayward or to a lesser extent Gay, iggy who could grow with the core I get making zach the 6th man.
But until we a legit starting caliber playoff SF, I believe the wolves need to continue to try wiggins and Lavine together until they figure it out.

Agreed, but don't rule out trading one of these two guys either (in the off season) if it can land us someone like Jimmy Butler.
