You do realize that Hicks lashed out at me for no reason and of course you embraced his personal attack. What I said was in response to his rant and it was rather mild. I take strong positions just as you do and some people don't like it, but I never go out of my way to make personal attacks or insult a poster unless that poster has taken a personal shot at me. After about three of your rude posts, I've tried to follow the corollary to the golden rule which says to treat others the way they treat you. We got Bennett, Darko, Beasley, Kandi, Eddie Griffin, Joe Smith who were top picks in the draft that flopped elsewhere and lets not make the mistake with Russell. I'd much rather roll with Bender, Buddy or Dunn.

Okay, TeamRicky. I think you're full of shit. I think you're trying to play the victim card after you've been puffing your chest out on the board lately calling myself and others names, including you calling me an "egotistical ass" after I brought up the Big Board thread of mine in a different thread. You also unsuccessfully declared that I was hypocrite. Above all of that, the most annoying aspect of your posts is that whenever the name Jamal Murray pops up, you take it upon yourself to declare keyboard warfare on all those that like him or are at the very least intrigued with him. I know you're not a fan of his. I know you don't think highly of him. I think everyone knows your stance. You've done a fantastic job of making that clear -- similar to the aggressiveness of my liking to Towns last year, though in retrospect, I went way too far in trying to change people's opinions. I'm well aware now that it's not only rude, but it's tiresome. People are going to like and dislike certain prospects regardless of what debate is brought forth. Instead of jumping at every opportunity to declare how much you hate him, it might be nice for others to discuss and come to whatever conclusion they choose to without you always jumping in spewing your anti-Murray rhetoric.

I asked for us -- me and you -- to not speak about Murray again for one specific reason: you never bring anything new to your argument. It's the same tired view of how poorly Murray plays defense while ignoring most of his offensive game, and not giving him an ounce of a chance to improve. On the other side of that coin, you see Buddy Hield having enormous potential and compare him as a senior to a freshman Murray as if they're equals in their development, though they clearly are not. I grew tired of talking to you, especially about him. Do you understand? It's exhausting.

IMHO Ricky you have conducted yourself much better in the past than you have in this thread. It's is what it is I'm plenty willing to move on from that but that's how I saw it and I wanted to communicate that.

Also, I don't have a problem -- never have -- with people having strong opinions. It provides a certain flavor to the board when two or more strongly opinionated posters are debating something thoroughly and bringing new angles to their stances. It's why this board is as interesting as it is. Just off the top of my head there's: Q, khans, Cool, LST, Lipoli, Abe, and myself that have had pages of debates where a ton of information gets laid out, different angles get discussed, and it's overall pretty thorough arguments -- regardless of the disagreements that take place. I appreciate all of those debates because it allows other posters that aren't as aggressive with their opinions -- monster, kekgeek, SameOldDrew, etc. -- to let both sides of the debate sink in and think for themselves and then they add in good discussion.

With you, TeamRicky, I usually get something different. I usually feel like I get a recycled take of yours that tends to cover something we've already talked about more than once. When that happens, the debate loses it's juice for me and nothing productive takes place. That's how I normally feel about it, especially when the topic is Jamal Murray. I guess what I wish for is more angles to your arguments than what you provide.

I don't know if I'm getting what I mean to say across to you, but I tried. That's essentially how I feel about it all.

Cam, you have gotten into battles with multiple people on this board. We actually got along fine before you disappeared into your self imposed exile. I started posting on this thread and you started belittling my posts, saying I hadn't seen enough tape, saying I was wrong, blah blah blah. I brought up Porzingis to lighten the mood in what I thought was a good natured response to your attacks and you took it personally. From then on, you have went out of your way to attack many of my posts. Its as if you were trying to create an argument when one didn't exist. You take jabs at me or my posts (perhaps you aren't aware of it) and think that when I respond to you in a similar fashion, that I'm the instigator. It was funny I was like the 10th person who mentioned Denzel Valentine and you post that I talk about him ad nauseum. Its interesting you brought up Towns. I posted many more pro-Towns threads than you last year so don't try to claim the mantle of this board's biggest supporter, which I know you have done multiple times. I took a very anti-Russell position last year when he was being talked up as someone we should draft. Nobody would argue that we shouldn't have taken KAT over Russell.
