Yes we need someone to dribble the shot clock down and shoot a 20 ft turnaround fadeaway at the buzzer over someone a foot taller than him.

Very big win with our second leading scorer getting shut out. Tomorrow's gonna be tougher, especially if Martin can't go, but another BTB sweep would really build some confidence.

Is Rubio good defender? He got smoked for 28. I have not looked back, but PG's seem to score fairly well against us.

DIdn't watch much of the game. But I read the last 3 pages of this thread. Good stuff. So in summary:

- JJ sucks.
- JJ saved us.
- JJ sucks.
- JJ played well.
- JJ sucks.

Is that accurate?

Ha, that's pretty much it! JJ had a great first half when we built our lead, and had a really good game stat line of 15-5 and 2 steals. But in the 4th quarter he had a couple moments of wildness and ill-advised shots that frightened veteran JJ-watchers. But he steadied and was a major factor overall in this win.

It was nice to see him rediscover his 3-point shot, going 3-5. Keeping that up would really be a boost for our second team.

I've also noticed that, unlike last year, JJ defers ball handling to Rubio when both are on the court. Last year many of us would get frustrated when he would act like the point guard when he was out there with Ricky. Last night I noticed that he consistently gave up the ball to Ricky to run the offense, and played the role of shooting guard...albeit a very short shooting guard.
