I still dont know what is an issue with us, that we cannot get ball down-low to PEK. He was so hot today, yet we failed to run through him more (also considering that DJ was on 5 fouls for very long time, so even fouling him out of the game would free up lots of space for Kevin and our team offense in general)

Inside of two minutes... yes. Then it's two free throws and the ball. But, there was time before that. As an NBA fan... I appreciate it when teams don't resort to that terrible gimmick. As a guy who would want the local team to win... my view might be different.

Is now the time we starting praying for Wiggins?

Don't need him. Shabazz is going to work on his game this summer and he'll be ready next year.

Can't even do that. Thanks Kahn.

I am aware of the rules Abe.

If a guy can't make outside shots, don't you play off of him? If a guy doesn't want to learn to shoot FT's, it only makes sense to take advantage of it. It was the only chance we had with the running picks Jordan was setting on Rubio. He actually ran him over on the open 3 Paul got. JimPete missed that of course, but was sure to point out how impressive Brewers foray into three defenders was.

SJM -- glad you pointed out those moving picks on Rubio. They were as blatant as moving screens can be and absolutely should have been called.

Just got back, some quick thoughts:

Sparse, dead crowd until Brewer got flagrant fouled. Then the crowd came to life and it seemed to spark the players to play harder. Overall though very disappointing, expected a near sell out and a crowd more engaged.

Not a great game by either team. That could have explained why the crowd couldn't get into it.

Rubio's defense on Paul was good all game, even in the last part of the 4th. Paul simply proved he is one of the best in the game and made some very tough, clutch shots.

Rubio's airball three point attempt in the 4th quarter was a microcosm of his issues right now as a shooter. He got the ball, looked hesitant, and then shot it as if he almost didn't mean to do it. This is what needs to change. I can live with him taking that shot there, and he needs to take it. But he needs to take it because he wants to take it and then he has to shoot it like he means it.

Can't win with Love shooting 2-14. He did some other things, but that is an ugly night from your main scorer. Something else maybe TV caught: when the Clips went up 7 and the wolves called timeout K-Love was screaming his head off. Was this at Ricky or the ref? Anyway you could see a frustrating night boiling over right there.

When we need a three pointer late in the game I don't know if Brewer needs to be on the court. Would rather see Hummel or maybe even JJ (or obviously Bud when he gets back).

And finally, some props to Shved for at least making a few positive plays after he again looked beyond terrible in his first moments on the court. Still, overall he may be a lost cause.

And finally part II: Derrick Williams. Not much to say.

MUST beat Brooklyn.

Well, except for one basket... every time Paul scored in the 4th with more than 2 minutes left... it was a one possession game.

I don't know too many coaches who would resort to the Hack Attack game in those moments.
