Well, pretty much what we've been seeing for a long time now. The other team makes it look easy on offense due to our terrible defense. To everyone ripping on Thad Young...I don't know. I think he can be a decent player, but he's not what this team needs right now. We need to get more size toughness inside. Also, as others have mentioned many times, a lot of the bad defense starts with the PG's allowing the other team's to break us down with penetration. I can't wait for Rubio to return.

I agree about Thad. Wrong team altogether. We need a banger/longer 4. Good thing there seems to be a few bits in this draft.

I don't see why bazz and wiggins can't eventually start together. Bazz improves every game.

I think Shabazz has been very good don't get me wrong but, I think he is more of a sixth man type, he might be able to develop more into a full time starter on a good team. If he is just going to be a post up player (he is a dominate one) I don't like the spacing the wolves are going to have. Rubio will never be a great 3pt shooter, Wiggins can shoot, but there will be so much traffic in the lane for him to drive off of a shabazz kick out. I don't think Shabazz can play with Pek at all. Shabazz could prove me wrong and develop more of an iso game that he can beat people off the dribble and hit pull up jumpers. I just see him as a 6th man and I think he can be an elite one

I see that but I also see shabazz and Wiggins on the floor at the same time as a matchup nightmare for other teams.

I see LaVine and Muhammad being really good bench guys. I think in the future all we'll need to do is put a shooter and two defensive grinder types around them and we'll have a nice unit. LaVine's definitely in the mold of Jamal Crawford, and that's not a knock on him at all. Muhammad's just instant offense, and a lot of the time it's efficient offense. Two big weapons they could be. We might be able to pencil in LaVine/Muhammad/Dieng as really above average bench players in the future.

Missed this one - stupid NBA TV trumped my NBA broadband package. Perhaps I shouldn't watch more often, as it looks like Wiggins had a hell of a game. Great to see him break out. 3's and Free's baby, that's how you get it done!

I thought the wolves played damn good besides a about 4 minute stretch end of the 3rd where they were really bad

Good to know, but you know things are bad when a 21 point loss doesn't seem so bad. I guess that's what we have to cling onto these days.

It also looks like Budinger put in another halfway decent stint in terms of his shooting. That's 3-games in a row where he's shot the ball decently.

Q - Bud didn't have a great game. He made a few dumb plays and he wound up guarding Waiters a few times and had no chance at staying in front of him. I don't remember if he was out there as the 2 or not, but it was very apparent he cannot guard 2s.

Our team defense is still atrocious. I don't know how much of that is players' physical deficiencies, mental lapses, or poor coaching/schemes. But we are not winning much if that doesn't improve.

One good thing about all these losses now is even if we should win at a healthy clip once Rubio & company return, we ought to still hang onto our top-10 pick next year!

Tim, It's "all of the above" on the defense. We have a few vets who have never been known as good defenders (Budinger, Martin, Mo Williams). We have a PF who is undersized (Thad) playing next to a Center who is easily pushed around (Dieng). And then we have a bunch of 1st and 2nd year players filling in the rest of the minutes.

Then again, I look at the Sixers and they have the 12th rated defense in the NBA. That is pretty impressive for such a young and experienced group of guys. Coaching has a lot to do with it. And by the way, they won again tonight! We only have two more wins than them, ugh!
