GR3 is not in the yahoo sports boxscore, but is in the ESPN box score. He was 3 for 4, with a steal, 3 assists, 2 boards and +7. Looked good in limited minutes.

Yeah, not many starter minutes tonight though. No Pek or Martin, and no Rubio in the second half.
No Williams or Bennett either. Have to believe Bennett is better than Hummel. My goodness.
I wasn't trying to be a Debbie Downer. They just didn't look sharp tonight trying to execute on either end. It's only one game. I agree it should get better with those guys.

I'm not down at all on Lavine from tonight. I was skeptical to begin with about him being a combo guard. But to me he showed that he has excellent ball handlings skills and vision. The form on his shot is good too. Him nailing all his jumpers would have had me gushing but in all I think he has all the skills to be a great guard (definitely more a 2 than a 1).

I agree. Wiggins looked like he belongs out there and while his shot didn't always fall, he didn't seem to be taking bad shots, hit both of his three point shots, he passed well, got three blocks and a steal. Also got to the line a lot and converted 8 of 10.
LaVine still looks a bit raw and some of his passes were a bit off. He had five turnovers. On the positive, he got five boards and four assists.

I am still high on LaVine it is one game, and a preseason game, He will get better.
Also I wish there was a spot on this team for heslip, man can he stroke it. I know he has less than a 1% chance of making the team but man can that boy shoot

I liked that LaVine played decent defense and tried to get others involved, though. Also had a nice throwdown.

I was most impressed with Wiggins, Budinger and GR3 tonight. Thad Young, Dieng and Brewer had decent games. Ricky, Barea and LaVine were subpar. Least impressive were Shabazz, Hummel and Fesenko.
The team outrebounded the Pacers by 4 and we actually missed Love's scoring more than his rebounds. We also did well in the turnover department with a total of 11 and two players accounted for 8 of them-- LaVine (5) and Ricky (3).

Getting Mo Williams and Pek back should help with our scoring. Shabazz getting less minutes should help too--he was blocked three times at the rim and the defense can collapse on him as he doesn't seem to know how to pass.
