On more than one occasion, I have heard the quote that Wiggins is the most highly touted rookie since LeBron. I'm not sure I buy that. Oden and Durant had a lot of hype, same with Anthony Davis, Rose and Beasley. I just hope Wiggins is better than all of them. :)

Chase Budinger: Comeback player of the year! You heard it here first. He'll be healthy all season, play about 20 minutes a game.

I would love to see that and him playing those minutes at SG with Martin traded.

Flip wants to have his cake and eat it, too!
He has veterans at every position to at least compete for a playoff spot this year. And he has youth at every position to build for the future. He'll want to develop that youth, but not at the expense of making the playoffs. So I expect the young guys to only get minutes they earn which helps the team win, and not merely get minutes for the sake of development.
Personally, I don't have a problem with that. And it's a reason I won't be surprised if we head into the season with the roster as it currently stands.

It should be interesting if Flip can get the team in the playoffs.
To do it. I think Wiggins needs to be ROY. That would mean he was a big upgrade over Brewer and Young did a sold job replacing Love. The second unit could perform much better which would help.

I'm buying in to a healthy Bud also. When I looked at his stats last year were not as bad as I expected them to be coming off his injuries. He was knocked out those last few games because of an ankle injury which is really common for basketball players so I think its possible he. Comes back healthy. I see him being a key to a bench that helps the Wolves surprise people. I think his overall basketball ability is a little underrated on this board. I'm hoping for him to be healthy but not expecting it. If he isn't that just means opportunity for other guys. A healthy Bud would be good for this team though in a bunch of ways.

Hopefully Budinger's ready. I'm over this consistently being injured thing he's got going.

I'm ready Tim. When i heard Flip was appointing himself as the head coach, I was ready to check out. Now I feel like David Puddy when he paints his face for the Devils game. LET"S GET IT ON, LET"S GO!!!
