Nope, didn't say that. I believe we can progress with a mix of youth and vets. Wiggins isn't the ONLY path to take.

No but mediocre veterans surely isn't the right path.

Q clearly stated he doesn't believe Wiggins is a star so he doesn't see that as great deal. That makes sense.

Andrew Wiggins will play in summer league tonight for Cavs. They have no plans to include him in trade talks for Kevin Love, sources said.

They're clearly playing the game here. Hold out on their top asset so that when they finally include him it will seal the deal and let them keep as many young assets as possible.

I'm telling you if he plays, that is the end of the Wiggins to Minnesota possibility.

I don't consider Gibson or Butler mediocre.

Average? Solid? Vital pieces? Difference makers? Potential all stars? Hall of famers? What are they?

Just to be clear, I'm not anti-Wiggins. I just feel like there are other options to consider and of the ones previously discussed, the Chicago deal is intriguing.

The chances get even less there is no doubt. I'll say this that some crazy stuff has happened so I wouldn't say absolutely no but yeah. Lol

I think they are both very good players that excel defensively and are solid offensively. I also like their contracts.

If the Cavs keep the current roster in place, they'll have four players who were No. 1 overall picks (LeBron, Kyrie Irving, Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett) and two others who were top five picks (Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters). And that doesn't even include Anderson Varejao.

But all the talk is Kevin Love, and what Cleveland has to do to get him. Is including Wiggins and his attractive rookie contract a must as far as Minnesota is concerned? Here's the latest.

From Jeff Zillgitt of USA TODAY Sports: "Whatever the Cavs offer Timberwolves for Kevin Love, I keep hearing the offer needs to include Andrew Wiggins to make it work."

Ken Berger of CBSSports.com reports that the expectation around the league is that Cleveland is willing to deal Wiggins if it means adding Love. "As the LeBron after-effects crank up, word among multiple team execs is No. 1 pick Andrew Wiggins will be in play in Kevin Love trade," Berger tweeted.

We'll continue to stay on top of this and let you know when further details emerge.

Sure seems like Cleveland is posturing so that they end up giving as little as possible. Probably Wiggins, Bennett & filler. If they throw in at least 1 maybe 2 of their 1st rounders next year I'd be happy. Then wouldn't mind if Pau came in to bring some vet leadership. Would leave us with an interesting big Trio in Pek, Pau & Dieng.

Those things are nice Q, but they don't feed the baby. We have to raise our expectations. Taking on good players for a top 10 player in the game weakens us.
