Ingles is a hell of a bench warmer. Aussies are handling Serbia pretty well at the half.
On another note, good thing OKC moved Giddy to the East. We dodged a bullet there! And how the heck is Patty Mills still on the FA market?!?
Mills shot 35% fg on two different teams... IN THE NBA last season.
He's washed for that league... still good enough for international play.
Its worth mentioning that he took 2/3s of his FG attempts from 3. Thats pretty much why he is on the floor. he didnt make them in Miami.
Mills just seems like one of those guys that simply excells in international play. Maybe im misremembering but it seems like for quite a few years now the guy just puts up being scoring nunbers in these tournaments. I assume Tim was mostly joking about him being available.

NAW, Rudy and Ingles played for a grand total of 6 minutes and 23 seconds today
Ouch! Ingles is done, but we need Rudy and NAW to be the best version of themselves. Please don't extend Rudy.
Jack McVeigh had another nice game based on the box score. I'd guess the better player in the NBA next season will be Ingles.

Mills had a 42-point game (with 9 assists) to lead Australia to a bronze medal vs. Doncic and Co. in the Tokyo Olympics.

Ant with another good game.
Bruno Caboclo was the best player on that team, so what else should we expect?

I will always celebrate when one of our guys has a good game, regardless of the competition!
More importantly, I like to see how he's being used and how he's performing relative to his team mates, which literally includes three guys that are considered among the best to ever play (Durant, Curry, and LeBron). The fact that as the youngest player on the team he's being used as the co-leader of the bench mob with Kevin Durant and is among Team USA's most productive players speaks volumes to the type of player he's turning in to.
I share Cool's line of thinking that Ant's main issue at this point is fitness level/taking care of his body. It certainly impacted him as the playoffs dragged on. Hanging around LeBron and Durant will hopefully help influence Ant's dietary, sleep, and fitness habits even during his down time.

Q, to your point about Ant and fitness. I wasn't buying into the narrative last season that his fitness was impacting him. But then I noticed how he was visibly worn down in the playoffs, and I realized the take was valid. Fast forward to this summer. I listened to Dane Moore and Kyle Thiege on Dane's recent podcast, and they both marveled at the body transformation Ant has gone through in the past couple months. Kyle said "He looks like he hasn't eaten a carb in months!". I know we hear this kind of stuff a lot, and sometimes it's meaningful and sometimes it's not. I'm hoping this is real and Ant is taking some steps to improve his fitness. It could greatly raise his already high ceiling.

I have no doubt he can ramp up from a baseline of B- or C+ in fitness level to nearly A+ when preparing for official duties, whether that's on Team USA or the Wolves. The issue is not letting it get to B- in the first place and then maintaining that A level fitness throughout the course of an entire season and playoffs. I think that's a lot easier said than done and the modern-day greats are really good at being intentional about it every single day.
