They let it go because it's legal to lift your pivot foot....
lol you need to watch closer. My only question is whether it’s one or two extra steps.
Watching closer is irrelevant to the fact that it's legal to lift the pivot foot, which you indicated in your post that you seem to think that isn't the case

In the play with Ant- his off foot is away from the basket, he then pivots and takes a step towards the basket with his off foot, lifts his pivot and hits the lay up before landing with that foot again. It was perfectly legal
Thanks, I get what you’re saying about lifting the pivot foot, but there’s also an extra step there beyond that (unless my eyes are playing tricks on me) - I mean what he’s doing is very very easy, so why isn’t every player doing it? There’s no way that its legal… at least technically

Dillingham a -17 in a 24 point win. Pathetic. And it wasn't his team mates' fault. He was consistently overpowered while on defense, missed too many shots on offense, and had an Assist:TO ratio of .5.

I guess he didn't build on the positive Denver stint. Yuck!

In the play with Ant- his off foot is away from the basket, he take a jab step with the off foot, he then pivots and takes a step towards the basket with his off foot, lifts his pivot and hits the lay up before landing with that foot again.

It was perfectly legal and another demonstration of his development with footwork and patience
Dude, he’s taking an extra one, two and then up with the third. Anyone gonna help me out here? Or do I need to call the eye doctor tomorrow 😆

Well, multiple "steps" can be taken with the opposite foot if the pivot foot stays down. Often times Ant will pivot one way, then pivot the other before launching forward off his non-pivot foot. As long as the pivot foot doesn't hit the ground before the ball leaves his hand, it's not traveling, but I can see why it looks like it might be.

You should tag a minute/second mark in a highlight link where you see him doing it and think it's traveling.

Maybe I’m wrong. I did a search online and Under what’s allowed nowadays (traveling lol) this seems to just be great footwork. I stand corrected.

I think they're playing tricks cause I've watched it several times and there isn't an extra step.

I think the jab step throws you off..he might slide his pivot a little- idk it goes to fast for me to tell - but that would be reeeeeeeeeally stupid to call.

But I'm 100% confident that it was legal and I disagree that it's an easy play

Yeah, it’s not easy. Credit to Ant for developing that.

Yeah, it's kinda bad he wound up being yanked in garbage time...

I think that was just so that Juzhang could get in the game. Nevertheless, it was a bad outing by Dillingham and he continues to be a liability after a brief moment of competence against Denver.

DVR Review:

- J. Clark is fun to watch. In so many ways... he's the antithesis to D. Russell. DLO is a lot more fun to watch when he's not on your favorite team. About as much of a non-winning player as I can remember watching.

- Another great 1st half for Naz. Good for him.

- Digging how the Wolves are consistently making the extra pass for a better shot.

- Speaking of passing, McDaniels is showing off some seemingly newfound chops.

- Dallas is missing several players. They played last night and then traveled. That being said... they suck. Only 4 assists in a half of basketball is embarrassing.

- Conley seems like he's fouling A LOT more this season. So I checked... and even though he's fouling a bit more than last year, he still has the 3rd lowest rate on the team.

- I think we should expect to see a lot of zones... and A LOT more defenses geared to make Edwards get off the ball. Keep hitting those shots Reid and McDaniels.

- Randle and Edwards combined to shoot 9 - 30... worst paired outing of the season... and it didn't matter a bit.

- Keep stacking these wins...
