I don't believe in giving professional athletes a pass because they are professional athletes, and therefore are confronted with more opportunity. If anything they should actively be more responsible because of their role model status. No one was asking KG to raise our kids, but setting a positive example wouldn't have hurt.

In a macro sense... more positive role models would help whether we're talking sports, entertainment or politics.

FNG wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2026 11:26 am I completely agree, Abe, that everyone is welcome to their own opinion about whether they want to celebrate KG or not...and their opinion is likely more valid than mine, since I am in the minority here. Just look at how joyful the crowd looked as he walked onto the court Sunday. But to me it's all about separating the man from the deeds. I find Harvey Weinstein to be one of the most despicable people to ever walk the earth, but I'll continue to enjoy his movies now and then. And I still enjoy several Michael Jackson songs. Similarly, I will always look favorably on what KG brought to us Timberwolves fans...he's still the most impactful T-Wolf of all time. But if there is a ceremony celebrating Weinstein, Jackson, or Garnett, you won't find me in attendance.
Ok so now we're bring Weinstein and Jackson into it? Lol put something on it that actually raises Garnett to that level or we can all just move on
I can't find anything online, so it's just your rumoring that were basing this on which forgive me but you can miss me with that

You're not kidding Abe.
