Don't see how Waiters fits with Kobe...

Loul Deng has said Waiters was a good teammate and I'm kinda tired of this whole "locker room cancer" stuff. I think it's BS more times than not. I think he would have a chance to prosper next to a guard like Rubio instead of Kyrie.

I'm not trading Waiters for Young. I've said that. That isn't the right value for us.
PS: The Lakers need talent. They need to be looking beyond Kobe right now. Kobe has two years left and then what's the future for LA? Okie dokie then.

I just listened to Flips Friday Funkadelic. As its been said here he threw out Dieng and Martin as guys that he said haven't been discussed in a trade. I'm sure Flip mentioned them for a purpose so I would make a pretty strong assumption that those are guys he isn't interested in moving our why name them? Dieng is obvious and to me so is Martin, but what do I know.
After listening to Flip I think its time to sit back and relax and wait. He basically said alot of the stuff thats been out there is not true and the fact that he named Martin who some reports had as a guy that the Wolves NEEDED to move in a package shows people are pretty clueless about what is really going on. I actually got the feeling Flip was still very much thinking of holding onto Love like Lip has said. This seemed to be the most open about the sort of idea of a Love trade that I've heard though so who knows.
Really though I don't know what new wolves stuff there is to really discuss right now. SL is over and all we are left with is speculation and with the 30 day thing there probably won't be any real news unless the Cavs make some other move that might help them in a Love trade.

Hi guys, I am a pretty new poster but I used to lurk the Espn boards when they were still around.
I just saw a tweet from Sam Amico that said :
"Multiple sources under impression TWolves star Kevin Love has requested trade to Cavs to/through agent." Story: http://t.co/tSXP6Ujud7
Do you guys think this is just the Cavs last desperate move to drive down the price in hoping they won't have to include Wiggins in a potential deal? Me personally, I would not accept any offer from Cleveland without Wiggins included. This was one of the reasons I didn't want this thing to drag on for 30 more days because I knew things like this were gonna come out. If Love/Love's agent demands a trade to Cleveland then this thing might get pretty ugly.

I'm fairly certain that the Cavs have come to terms with the fact that if there is no Wiggins, there is no Love deal.

If you listen to yesterday's Flip's Funkadelic on KFAN I think it gives you reason to not worry. Flip was more open about the trade talk in general and seemed pretty comfortable and much less defensive even though he was saying some annoyances about media trade talk. It was a different tone than before and he seemed pretty relaxed for someone in his position.
Also Welcome!

Cavs fans are going to take this news as a return to leverage to keep Wiggins in a Love deal. I can't imagine how the Cavs will have a max slot available to sign him as a FA so their only option to get Love is via trade. Since Flip is content to hold on to Love next year, Cleveland will still need to pay up.

This isn't any different than a month ago. It is more BS reporting trying to get hits on a website.
Sure, Love said he wouldn't re-sign in GS if he gets traded there. I can't believe anyone would give any of this a second thought.
The best is "Love demanding a trade". If a player demanded a trade and I was the GM, I'd tell him to bring a seat cushion with him to camp.

All of you guys make solid points and thank you Monsterpile!
After seeing no other credible person report this or confirm this, it leads me to believe that this is just more b.s. thrown out there in hoping something sticks. I know that Amico is pretty much the mouthpiece for the cavs organization so its hard to believe EVERYTHING he says but there is always that small chance that it might be true.
I am just ready for this saga to be over with and to see what our team is going to look like next season!
