Nice signing. He will be worth a couple wins this year.

can't really complain about amounts for a one year deal. It's not like it's gonna hinder anything in the future
I know it, but I'd still like to add Blatche to play backup PF and we might not have enough money to throw at him.
Wolves have to make a deal before signing anybody else though. they have 15 guys with deals now, not including GR3
I know it.
Another reason why I'm shaking my head at the Hummel signing.
Re: Offical Free Agency Thread
Month is a heck of a signing probably one of the top talents as a backup PG out there and we ended up with him. Wow Flip nice work.
Last year there were a ton of moves and it was all sorts of confusing but it was worked out. I am gonna guess Flip has things lined up to move guys obviously. I'm gonna trust Flip knows what he is doing until he proves otherwise especially with this Love thing overshadowing everything.

As far as I can tell, Cleveland has no backup PG. Barea makes a lot of sense with his championship experience.

They have Delanadova (sp) the aussie. Who played well for them last year. I thought he would be a guy that would get a shot in the league. He made their team last year as an UFA.

Dellavedova's actually decent. Don't see Barea ending up in Cleveland. He'll likely be moved to Philly if they are indeed the third team involved.

We are talking about LeBron James and a team that wants to contend for a championship ASAP. They moved Jack. I don't see how they go into next year with only Irving and the inexperienced Dell kid at the point (he's listed as a SG?). JJ helped Dallas win a championship. It seems obvious to me JJ will be with the Cavs.

You may have a good point Tim. If I was the Cavs I wouldn't mind JJ he could fit well with Lebron as a shooter. I'd love it if the send the Dell kid as you call him to us. :)
Re: Offical Free Agency Thread
Like the Mo signing alot. He can provide good offense off the bench and I wanted a vet backup all along.
As for Blatche, does anyone remember how things went with him and Flip in Washington? I feel like the final straw happened when they were together but I don't know for sure.

You realize LeBron won two rings with Norris Cole playing backup PG right? Dellavedova shoots the ball well from outside, he's a good passer and he plays defense. That's really all they need him to do and he makes less than $900K.
You remember that Love and Barea don't get along right? That's an issue in itself. Now, can you imagine Barea playing hero ball with LeBron on the court? How long would it take for LeBron to quietly express his disliking for Barea to upper management? Not long.
Barea's not going to Cleveland and he's not staying in Minnesota. That much I'm 100% sure of.
