Nine years ago my life was limbo. So thankful I made it thru this heart surgery. Thank god! Counting my blessings. #Grateful #family

I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but is it 30 days, or is it 60?

I haven't read through the entire thread, but Cleveland acquiring some non-guaranteed contracts is likely in preparation for a Love trade. However, none of those contracts can be included in a trade for 60 days.

The trade could be as simple as Love for Wiggins, Thompson (or Bennett) and Lucas. With whatever draft picks included to make everyone happy. Lucas is cut and away we go. Cleveland does need a backup PG, so maybe Barea is traded for Waiters, although Cleveland is then hurting in the SG department...

From what I have read, 2 of those contracts left the Cavs under the cap and can be rerouted immediately. Then the 3rd one put them over the cap and cant be moved (with other players) for 60 or whatever it is.

Thanks, phenom! One or two of those contracts will make the salaries match. 30 days it is.

One of the things I'm looking forward to the most about this whole situation is seeing Love on a good team. I'm tired of people saying he's just a stat-stuffer on a bad team. Also, he's added things to his game each offseason, and I'm excited to see what he added this year.

So, assuming CLE and MIN don't swap Waiters for Martin (which I think they should), Minnesota likely comes out of this whole thing with Wiggins, Young (from Philly) and a 1st round pick (from CLE via MIA) while trading Barea in the process.

I would be ecstatic if we get Wiggins, Young, and a first round pick

I don't see us giving Bennett, Waiters and JJ for Young. I would expect it to be Waiters, JJ and a pick to go to Philly. I think we end up with Wiggins/Young/Bennett and a pick and lose Love/JJ/Brewer. I would then try to flip Martin/Bud/LRMAM to the Pelicans for Gordon to open up roster spots for GR3 and another big.

I'm not 100% sure that Waiters is in the deal, and if he is then I'd keep him.

I'm thinking Love to Cleveland for Wiggins + Bennett + Two 1st rounders since that's close to what's been rumored.

Bennett + Barea + Shved go to Philly for Young.

We'd essentially take back Wiggins and Young while shipping out Love, Barea and Shved.

Rubio / Williams
Martin / Brewer / LaVine
Wiggins / Budinger / Muhammad
Young / Mbah a Moute / Hummel
Pekovic / Dieng / Turiaf

That would leave us with one roster spot for GRIII. We really need a secondary trade after this Love trade to get rid of a wing or two.
