JJ Redick not holding back on his podcast. On the Pelicans' front office:
"I don't think you're going to get honesty from that front office, just objectively speaking - that's not an opinion. I don't think what happened with me is an isolated incident"
"I don't expect the agents who worked with me to ever trust that front office again"

Interesting. But so far, the front office seems to be doing a good job acquiring talent and assets.

Zach is a guy I always cheer for, but he is not a winner...he's never been on a winning team in his 7 seasons. So what could go wrong if the Bulls create a Big 2 by adding Vukevic...whose best season in his 10-year career was 42-40? Seems like a good plan. Hasn't worked out too well though as the Bulls have been lunch meat since the trade.
I'm glad the Wolves would never be dumb enough to put together a Big 2 with an almost identical record of futility. We're too smart for that.

My post was somewhat in jest, but there's a serious side to it. KAT and Vukevic are remarkably similar in statistical performance this year, as are DLO and Zach for their careers (not fair to compare 2021). I've been monitoring the post-trade Bulls closely because the respective teams' pairings are so similar...stat-stuffing PGs and C's with questionable defense and lack of success for the teams they have been on. I was hoping that some Bulls success might make me feel better about what is going to happen when (if?) we finally see KAT and DLO together. I was thinking improvement in the Bulls would make the DLO return more intriguing and promising. So far, it's not helping my somber mood about the Rosas Chemistry Experiment. But there's always hope...

Nikola Vucevic has played -- checks notes -- two games for Chicago since the trade. Two. And in both games Zach LaVine played objectively below his norms. Maybe we should wait and see here too...

I want to say the reason I bring up lavine stuff is that he is a former Wolves player. Also people think trading lavine was the worst decision the Wolves could of ever made and I just reject that notion

Was trading LaVine the worst decision in the long line of many for Minnesota? No. But was trading LaVine over the alternative option a terrible decision and one that has since impacted the franchise? I think so.

Aaron Gordon immediately fit like a glove after joining the Nuggets. I was secretly hoping for him to fail after he not so subtly leaked that he had no interest coming here around the trade deadline. But man does he look good so far.
James Wiseman continues to look rough, he 's giving Vanderbilt a run for his money for worst hands in the NBA

I just want to repeat that we are losing a high pick this year or next.
We gained a player who we rarely see play with our best player.
Essentially wasting 2 full years.
Meanwhile Wiggins is not missing games, and is playing at a pretty high level.
