Philadelphia's beating Denver by 17 right now early in the second quarter. Need this Nuggets loss.

The one silver lining if Denver wins is that James Harden loses and that would make me somewhat happy.

Honestly, while I'd love to see us win the 6th seed, I just want to see us keep playing good competitive ball. We've already exceeded Vegas expectations and taken a huuuuuge step forward as a franchise. Can't really do much about Denver and Dallas unless we're playing them.

Clippers lost, so at least we'll keep our lead over them even if we lose.

Hmm. That's a guy you and I wanted the Wolves to draft. Well, you can't hit on all of them. Overall, I think Rosas did a heck of a job when he was here.

I think how people that follow this team more closely like people on this board will feel about that draft (based on what we have seen so far) hinges somewhat on whether Bolmaro becomes a worthwhile player (or is used as a worthwhile asset in a trade). Right now Rosas has done more positive than negative things when it come to putting together the talent and roster but he does have a couple black marks including Culver hiring Saunders (maybe someday we will find out for sure if he had full power to hire his guy from the beginning or not) and not having more size on the roster. Still nobody bats .1000 and even though Rosas should have looked for more size he did acquire guys like Reid and Vanderbilt that cost very little add and have some legit value. I don't think if Gupta is the guy that stays he will have the same blind eye towards adding at least another legit big to the roster.

Denver lost to Cleveland and Dallas lost to Philadelphia.

Minnesota is now 1.0 game behind Denver for the sixth seed and 2.5 games behind Dallas for the fifth seed.

Yep. Good results last night. Tonight's game against the Bucks is a big one for the Wolves. If they can pull off a win, they'll only be a half game behind the 6th place Nuggets and probably remain 2.5 games behind the 5th place Mavs since the Mavs will probably win tonight. Meanwhile, the Clippers have been sinking like a stone so the Wolves have a lock on 7th place. Wish we didn't have this play-in tournament.
