If New York can't find a landing spot for KAT, I wouldn't mind bidding for OG if New York needs to trade him for Giannis.

Okay, the intro to this Bobby Marks breakdown for getting Giannis makes me want Giannis even more!

Someone on X named CashGod has relayed my idea as "being most likely"

Jaden to Portland for the Bucks picks, Julius and salary to Milwaukee with those picks and Giannis to Minny.

We need depth.

But setting aside our top 6, we don't really have the assets to get much. Conley's expiring. Dillingham. TSJ. Can we do a pick swap? Nobody is going to see Clark or Miller as anything other than filler. Probably the same for Rocco. It would be really tough to give up Beringer. Setting him aside, we're not going to get much at all with the rest of those guys.

Alternately, we could try to move one of our top 6 guys and get back a PG and another rotation guy. Here, the most logical option would be to try to trade Naz or Randle. They basically play the same position, and it would be better to spend that money on our weakest position right now. Ideally, Dillingham would've become that guy, and we wouldn't have to do this, but that isn't happening. It would really suck to lose either Naz or Randle, and I'm not totally in love with any of the possibilities out there. Both Naz and Randle have pretty good contracts, and you don't want to give that up for a guy who's probably overpaid.

Damn, we really needed one of the Clark, TSJ, or Dillingham triumvirate to pan out, especially after we let NAW go. The fact that ALL of them have basically failed to take a step forward is really killing us. Thank god we pulled Bones out of thin air. Still, if TC doesn't pull off some magic in the next week, we better cross our fingers that Clark, TSJ, or Dillingham step up in the second half, or that Bones and Beringer really solidify their roles as the 7th and 8th guys in the rotation, but that feels like it's asking a lot.
Drew, Yeah, I was really excited about the young triumvirate, especially TSJ, but alas, it has been damn near a worst-case scenario. At least Clark provides mostly mistake-free minutes of hustle and defense, but not much else. His 3-point shot from last year was a mirage.

I am totally convinced Connelly is going to do something - at minimum address our guard depth issue. Whether he does something bigger in addition to that or as part of that we will wait and see. But no way is he standing pat.

That's funny because I saw a guy with a similar handle @Camden_Cash say we were in the mix for DLO to address our point guard issue.

Not sure what it would take to get him but in my opinion he is over paid.

Who is the better overall player?

Anunoby or McDaniels?

I would argue, in this season, Jaden has caught up to him. And OG is paid $15 million more per year. Now, he is thicker and can guard bigger dudes downlow. And if you ingore this season, a better outside shooter. But Jaden is better on D against guards. As a weak side shot blocker. Better in the mid range and in transition on offense.

P.s. this season i also think Jaden is now better than Mikal Bridges. Bridges D is overrated. He is not some top 10 guy. Top 30 defender i would say. Jaden is a top 10 guy on D though.

I feel like in these deals that things tend to get overlooked such as Randles contract. The dude is getting paid 33 million a year. This is one of the better contracts in the league. Jaden is literally right there with Ant for my favorite wolf and the thought of losing him pains me.

I dont like the combo of Gobert and Giannis. Could make it work but damn we are trying for a championship. I think the deal should be a 3 way with Gobert going somewhere that can send the Bucks picks and maybe some young guys they like. We also can give them Randle. Randle is the exact same age as Giannis but 20 million less and soon to be 30 million less per year. They have a guy that can help them build back up for half the cost. They get some picks and young guys. Throw them Rob. Lenny.

OK, but who plays Center for us then? Beringer has no outside shot either (and that's someone the Bucks might actually want BTW) so it's not like sending Rudy out suddenly solves the spacing issue.

One option is we go "small" with a frontline of Giannis, Naz, and Ant at SF. Either Giannis or Naz guards the opposing team's Center. Not sure I like that either even though it leads to better spacing offensively.

All i know is now that Giannis is officially available. And the fact we have a top 6 guy in the league. And the fact our name is being mentioned as a possible landing spot due to Giannis loving Ant and Tim Connely being a big game hunter, and knowing our current roster has probably reached it's ceiling, has me the most excited i have been since 2003 when we went out to land Sprewell and Cassell.
