Around the league thread
Re: Around the league thread
Zach had 50 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists tonight. The Bulls still lost. But I would have loved Zach's 50 points and 8 rebounds for the Wolves tonight.

I mean they did lose by 12 :)
They should cut him. He was a -3 Bazinga!

I'm looking forward to watching him tomorrow night...one of the most entertaining players in the league right now. I don't expect the same kind of game from Okogie that we got against Boston, but I do expect Finch will try to match him up with Zach all night. He'll certainly be more of a challenge than Huerter and Young were!

Yes, it will be fun to watch the LaVine/Okogie matchup. Pure offense against pure defense. I'll put my money on Zach to win that battle, but as you suggested, Okogie should do better than Huerter or Young.

Ian Begley: Tom Thibodeau on RJ Barrett: "His work ethic is top of the line, his attitude and approach are top of the line. He's a team-first guy. He's 20 years old and he's only going to get better."
Pretty extraordinary. I can't remember the last time Thibodeau ever praised a young player. He certainly never praised any of our young guys. What Thibodeau said about Barrett is consistent with all the scouting reports on Barrett coming out of college.

Jamal Murray torn ACL

Orlando won tonight. That will help the Wolves finish in the bottom three. But the Wolves can still pass them in the standings. Detroit only lost by 2 to the Clippers tonight. Would have been a great Pistons win for the Wolves.

Strongly disagree Lip. Once again the best spot for the Wolves is 3rd worst record. Worst record and 3rd worst record still have the same odds at being in the top 3 but with the 3rd worst record it worsened the chances of Warriors getting pick 4 or 5
Also I don't think the Wolves need to worry about catching the magic. Wolves are 4.5 games back with 16 to play. If the wolves went 8-8 the rest of the way (unlikely) the magic would only need 3 wins in their last 17 to have a better record then the wolves. The Wolves are not catching them

The Bulls are now 3-8 since trading for All-star Vujevic...

That's a shame for him, the team and the Denver fan base as well. It will be interesting to see if some other players are able to step up. It's still a pretty talented roster.
