Just get me anything! Wolves gear this side of the world is impossible. Even after travelling South East Asia for the last 3 months I can't even find any knock offs! Just bandwagon teams.

If corey stays then it will be good for wiggins. Brewer is an 8 year vet and will be a good mentor for wiggins. He can show him how to defend and matchup againts the top wings.

With mo signing, its more likely barea that gets shipped wioth love. Possibly turiaf, bud or shved joins them if its a larger deal.

Meh. Corey can teach him how to be a pro and good teammate, but after that, Wiggins shouldn't listen to too much of what Corey has to say. If Wiggins wants some help on defensive technique, he can go to Sam Mitchell or Luc Mbah a Moute. If he wants to work on his offensive game, K-Mart and Budinger are be better options. Wiggins might be better than Corey from day one.

I find that to be extremely good news. I'm a Corey guy as most of you know. I want him to stay.

Yep this would be good news it also means a couple other things.

1. If Brewer is staying and Martin also then Flip is serious about competing this year and that means no Bennett or Dieng as your starting PF someone legit will be starting there.

2. Corey and Martin staying with the Wolves make me think Waiters is staying with the Cavs because they need something besides old shooters playing SG.

Monster - I don't see the Wolves being very competitive with a starting five of Ricky, Martin, Brewer, Thad Young and Pek. We couldn't make the playoffs with that same lineup with Love instead of Thad Young at PF. I hope Flip isn't deluding himself into thinking we can be competitive with that group. Our only hope is very quick maturation of our young guys.

As for Corey's defense, if you ask the Wolves current coaching staff they won't be singing his praises. They love his energy and effort, but that's about it. Imagine Corey on the offensive end next season without Love's outlet passing. Actually, that means essentially no offense from Corey. I'm surprised he's not being included in the package to Cleveland. But Krawcsynski is very reliable and has a direct line to Flip so I have no doubt Brewer is staying here.

But this will leave us with a log jam at SF with Brewer, Shabazz, and Wiggins. And that's not counting Budinger. And I still see Thad Young as more of a SF than PF.

Measurables aside, what makes you think this??

While I'm not a huge Corey Brewer fan, I certainly don't see him as a throw-in to a trade. JJ Barea you throw in. Shved you throw in. But not Brewer. He has enough value as a player that he's not worth getting rid of just to free up playing time for other younger players. We need something of value in return. So while I'm not opposed to trading Brewer, I just feel like we should get a halfway decent asset in return. Otherwise, bring him off the bench next season as an energy guy.

Getting tired of hearing that Corey only scores off of outlet passes from Love. You can criticize his offensive game all you want, but at least he can finish around the rim. He's very good on the fast break and I seem to remember him finishing off a lot of fast breaks on passes from Rubio.

Lip about the Wolves being competitive I don't know what that means exactly but I think its clear Flip isn't blowing everything up and starting over. Losing Love is going to hurt a ton but doing a rebuild on the fly might also work. It will be interesting to see what this roster looks like when the season starts.

One thing that will be interesting is that its uncommon to have a #1 pick playing with some actual good players which Pek and Rubio for sure are. Usually the top guys end up in a position where they play a lot of minutes take a bunch of shots etc. Wiggins can make an impact quickly or be eased in depending on how he progresses. Maybe he plays well out of the gate and the Wolves quickly look like an upcoming young team with some vets.

That was the most random scoring outburst game I ever saw. Almost unreal amount of fast break points for brew. Got most of his points around the rim and fts.

I remember adelmans quote after the game. Something like "They dont know what to do with him. We dont know either"

Note. Love did not suit up for that game.
