Minnesota's still just 2.0 games back of both Denver and Utah for a top-six seed. I'm still holding on to hope that the Wolves run the table the rest of the way and get a little help on top of it.
The Jazz have 3 likely gimmes against the Lakers, Thunder, and Portland. Possibly the Warriors as well with them being unhealthy. Likely losses against the Grizzlies and Suns. So yeah, we really need to play some perfect ball or pray for something to break our way in 1 or 2 of those 4 easier games. I'm not sure who has the tiebreaker between the Wolves and the Jazz.
The Nuggets get the Pacers tonight, and the Lakers twice. All 3 likely wins. Spurs and Grizzlies which are toss up. Then of course us on Friday, which is an absolute must win if we have any hopes of catching them.
If we are to get that 6th seed it is far more likely Nuggets move to 5th and we bump the Jazz to 7.
Even if we get stuck at 7, we have 2 chances to see where we stand.
