Sources: Luc Mbah a Moute has agreed to a two-year, $4.5M deal to return to Clippers. Player option. Clips will use bi-annual exception.
Agree. With most teams having used up most of their space and most of the remaining players being one dimensional, we should start seeing deals closer to 5M a year and cheaper.
That's a great value best low money signing so far easily...partly because it's about the only one. Lol

Free agent guard Seth Curry is finalizing a two-year, $6M deal with the Dallas Mavericks, league sources tell @TheVertical.
I'm glad Curry went somewhere he actually has a shot at playing. I like the guy but it would have tough for him to get playing time here even though we need shooting. Mavs get a guy that might end up being a nice player think maybe A Lin type talent for cheap.

I'd rather have Aldrich. I'm not sure what Hibbert is really worth on the court anymore. For 5 million yeah that's a good deal for what you might get (not much downside) but I think Aldrich is the more valuable player at this point.
Edit
Also with the Hornets I think he has an opportunity to be a starter. He didn't do much with his last chance (regardless of the dysfunction of the Lakers it was still sad) let's se what he does with this opportunity. He will be a FA next season.

I think someone else mentioned Langston Galloway as someone they would be interested in. I would be to. It seemed like every time I watched him he looked like a nice player. He isn't all that big but he seems to play bigger than his size although he has a good wingspan. Like Curry I think it would be a bit of a tough sell to get him here with All the options we have at guard spots but so like him. It seemed like finding a solid guy like that was one of the few things that the Knicks did well with the last couple years. Someone else will now get a chance to reap the benefits.

Vertical Sources: Free agent center Zaza Pachulia has agreed to a one-year, $2.9M deal to sign with the Golden State Warriors.
Zaza is damn near an upgrade to Bogut. While he isn't quite the shot blocker or passer Bogut is, he is just as good of a rebounder, fouls less, and hits his free throws. And he's overall solid defensively.
Golden State went from Harrison Barnes to Durant at SF and basically didn't lose anything at starting Center.

So which 7 teams do we beat in the West to make the playoffs?

I'll just say at this point the Mavs didn't really downgrade much. Bogut is a good player and as much as Barnes isn't a max player I'm not sure he is that much of a downgrade from Parsons because he seems more likely to at least be available to play. So in short I expect them to be a playoff team.

I'll take a way too early shot at the West:
1) Golden State
2) San Antonio
3) LA Clippers
4) Minnesota
5) Portland
6) Utah
7) OKC
8) Dallas
9) Memphis
10) Houston
11) New Orleans
12) Denver
13) Sacramento
14) LA Lakers
15) Phoenix

Nice, but I'll put us at 6 for now. If we can land one more hometown boy (Allen Anderson), we'll be at a 5.
